The bioengineering master’s program is tailored for students who have a strong science background. Stevens also offers this program to current medical professionals who have a vested interest in biomaterials and tissue engineering research.

A master's in software engineering centers on building reliable, responsive, safe and secure software systems that propel industry and society forward in an increasingly interconnected world. In our software engineering program, you'll learn about the life cycle process and how to build sustainable products. You'll also acquire the skill sets necessary to design, build, test, and maintain software systems, and to manage software projects with optimal efficiency.

The School of Systems & Enterprises' (SSE's) software engineering students come from varied backgrounds — computer science, general science, mathematics, engineering, business and liberal arts — to develop the intellectual toolkit necessary to become architects and project leaders who can build the software-intensive systems of the future. The master's in software engineering program equips students with advanced knowledge in software architecture, project management, technical planning, risk management and software assurance – areas that are essential in implementing and overseeing software-intensive projects of high technical complexity.

The 30-credit Stevens master's degree in Enterprise Project Management emphasizes a strategic perspective that’s crucial to modern project management. This is a program for the technical professional eager to advance in the organization by directing people, budgets and projects toward completion. This program is accredited by the Project Management Institute, the leading organization in project management. Classes taken through Stevens can be applied to Project Management Professional certification or certification maintenance.

The program prepares students with broad coverage of fundamentals as well as state-of-the-art industrial practices in the areas of design, fabrication, integration, and application of microelectronic and photonic devices in communication and information systems. Designed for maximum flexibility, the program accommodates the backgrounds and interests of students with either a master's degree or graduate certificate.
