The SSE is the largest provider of systems engineering education to the United States federal government and to industries worldwide, such as aerospace, automotive, defense and healthcare industries. Our Master of Engineering program teaches students the multidisciplinary skills and approaches needed for the architecture/design and management of complex technical systems and processes throughout their life cycles.

At Stevens, the master’s in Network & Communication Management & Services evolved from the Telecommunications Management program, in recognition of the far-reaching impact of improving wireless and broadband network technologies as corporate change agents. This STEM program challenges you to explore concepts such as 5G mobile wireless, software-defined networks, network function virtualization, IoT, cybersecurity, data analytics, computer science, electrical engineering, information systems and management. This degree is ideal for both experienced telecommunications professionals as well as recent undergraduates interested in pursuing a career in the networking and services industry.

Whether you aspire to a management position in the finance department of your company, or seek to climb the ladder in the financial services sector, the master’s degree in Finance at Stevens will teach you to apply new tools in solving problems, anticipating trends and creating value through technology.

This program will give you a comprehensive foundation in financial and economic topics, as well as an understanding of common financial technologies and how to use them to exploit opportunity. The curriculum covers the concepts at the forefront of the data revolution — machine learning, language processing, web mining, optimization and risk. Classes explore key business concepts while going beyond basics in R, SAS, Hadoop, Python and Spark. The program culminates in a capstone experience in which you'll work on a project, using real data, under the guidance of an industry mentor.

The engineering physics master’s program prepares students for a successful career in industry or research by combining courses in fundamental physics with specializations that focus on applications to current research and technology. Students will gain deeper insight and skills in specific branches of engineering and interdisciplinary physics research including quantum engineering, applied optics, solid state device engineering and nanotechnology.

The program prepares students with broad coverage of fundamentals as well as state-of-the-art industrial practices in the areas of design, fabrication, integration, and application of microelectronic and photonic devices in communication and information systems.
