The construction engineering and management bachelor of science offers the rigors of engineering problem-solving and design with business and management courses, coupled with construction engineering and management courses. A concentration in Gender and Society provides students with an understanding of the role of gender in the experiences of females, males, and gender non-conforming individuals. The interdisciplinary nature of the concentration enables students to develop the skills to critically evaluate the ways in which inequality, oppression, and social structure contribute to various social problems such as the pay gap, sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking.  The Gender and Society concentration equips students for jobs in a variety of areas such as advocacy, counseling, public health, policy-making and government, business, and criminal justice.
