Overview
The general objective of the psychology program is to prepare students for professional training in the field of psychology by providing an overview of the essential methods and findings of experimental, clinical, and theoretical psychology. The primary theoretical orientation of the program is behavioral although the students will be exposed to multiple theoretical orientations. The scientist-practitioner model is emphasized in applied courses. Opportunities are provided for both human and non-human experimental research through environmental manipulation.
Students seeking the Bachelor of Science degree may earn a major or a minor in psychology. Note required grade average as described in the Department of Social Sciences.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.

Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies-Music
The Interdisciplinary Studies degree gives students the opportunity to design a course of study that includes music as an important component of their career or professional goals. This degree can lead to fulfilling careers in fields such as independent music teaching, arts management, music theatre, and music entrepreneurship. In addition to studies in music, students choose one or more complementary academic disciplines to fulfill their career goals including pre-approved tracks in theatre, public relations, and business administration. Computer Scientists commonly do three things: design and implement software, devise new ways to use computers, and develop effective ways to solve computing problems. They seek to understand why technology works, and apply that knowledge in practical ways.
Concord’s curriculum is designed to give students a thorough understanding of computers; the physics of the hardware, the underlying mathematical principles; and the creation of software solutions. The Department of Health Sciences also offers an undergraduate baccalaureate degree in Health Sciences. For the BS in Health Sciences students may choose an area of study in one of four tracks: Pre Physical Therapy, Pre Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Pre Professional studies.
