It’s guided by faculty with professional accounting experience outside of the classroom. You’ll get opportunities to work on real world projects and obtain coveted internships. Our curriculum is designed to prepare you to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination. With your CPA certification, you’ll be on your way to becoming a leader in public accounting, whether it be in a small local firm or a large international one.

This course covers an advanced-level discussion of managerial accounting. Specific topics include the role of cost information in pricing, ethics and management accounting, capital budgeting, strategy and the Balanced Scorecard, transfer pricing, performance measurement, activity -based costing/ activity-based management, inventory costing (including variable and absorption costing), and inventory management.

Students will also develop proficiency in addressing issues on the quality and reliability of sources of financial and nonfinancial data obtained from management and external sources. Students will work on projects aimed at enhancing their competency in critical thinking, problem-solving, written and oral communication, and data analytic skills.
