The M.S. in Philanthropy & Non-Profit Management is designed for working adults who aspire to senior management positions in non-profit and fundraising sectors. NSU’s program is the only one of its kind in Florida, with courses designed to deliver essential skills in grant writing, program development, financial management, human resource management, strategic planning, and more.

In this program, you’ll not only gain the multidisciplinary knowledge you need to effectively manage some of the complexities of the industry, you’ll also work on interesting topics, develop actual research skills, and analyze key issues. The Master of Accounting with a concentration in Managerial Accounting provides you with the accounting and financial management skills you need to drive business performance. Our curriculum is guided by faculty with professional accounting experience outside of the classroom. You’ll have opportunities to work with a successful mentor, obtain coveted internships, and work on real world projects in the classroom.

This course covers an advanced-level discussion of managerial accounting. Specific topics include the role of cost information in pricing, ethics and management accounting, capital budgeting, strategy and the Balanced Scorecard, transfer pricing, performance measurement, activity -based costing/ activity-based management, inventory costing (including variable and absorption costing), and inventory management.

• Courses offered alternate weekends, limited weeknight offerings on the main campus and online.
• Designed for working professionals in the field of accounting.
• Students with limited accounting experience can complete foundation course requirements online.
• Program can be completed in as little as 18 months.
• Program begins three times annually with starts in August, January and May.
• 30 credit hours (based on undergraduate degree)
• International students on a F1 visa without a bachelor's degree in accounting may not be eligible for this program.
