The Exercise Science AA pathway degree is for students who want to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science. This degree can lead to careers in personal fitness, coaching and athletic training, or to advanced professional degrees in sports nutrition, physical therapy and other related professions.

Please note only 60 of these credits are needed for AA degree completion. For each pathway, IDS 2891 is a degree requirement, and for most of the pathways, SLS 1106 is required for first-time-in-college students. CGS 1000 may be able to be tested out for no credit. The environmental science technology AS degree, environmental technician option, prepares you for a position as an environmental pollution control technician or environmental technician. Coursework readies you to conduct environmental surveys; to conduct investigations and evaluations of noise, air, soil, and water conditions for compliance with public laws and regulations; and to effectively manage natural resources.

This pathway is for students who want to pursue a four-year degree in the supply chain industry, which functions to facilitate the flow of goods, services, and finances among business on a global scale. Careers include positions in manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and retail.

The HCC Philosophy Associate in Arts degree pathway is a for students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in philosophy at a college or university. The associate degree provides students with the foundational knowledge required to enhance their understanding of philosophy as a critical inquiry of nature and human society, to analyze and evaluate major paradigms in philosophy from historical and contemporary perspectives, to sharpen critical thinking and argumentative skills, and to prepare students to transfer to a university.

This degree offers students a fundamental understanding of the main fields of philosophy, including logic, ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, social and political philosophy, aesthetics, and philosophy of religion while exposing students to a broad spectrum of philosophical theories. Many university programs require the completion of specific courses prior to acceptance. It is the student's responsibility to contact the institution to ensure transferability.

The HCC Religious Studies Associate in Arts degree pathway is for students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in religion, theology or other religious studies.
