The office administration: office management technology AS degree prepares you for mid-management office positions such as administrative office manager, office manager, equipment sales representative, administrative support manager, staff assistant, executive secretary, human resource technician, office manager, or executive assistant.

The HCC Statistics Associate in Arts degree pathway is for students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in statistics or a related field at a four-year university. Many university programs require the completion of specific courses prior to acceptance. It is the student's responsibility to contact the institution to ensure transferability.

Please note only 60 of these credits are needed for AA degree completion. For each pathway, IDS 2891 is a degree requirement, and for most of the pathways, SLS 1106 is required for first-time-in-college students. CGS 2100 may be able to be tested out for no credit. The pharmacy AA pathway degree is for students who want to pursue Bachelor's degrees in pharmacy. Pharmacists dispense medications prescribed by physicians as well as educate physicians and the public about proper drug usage. This pathway provides the courses and guiding principles to increase your chances for admission to pharmacy school.

The industrial management technology AS degree prepares you for a job as an industrial manager and for advancement in a variety of technical fields. Students who have successfully completed one of the Tampa Electric Company training programs that articulate with this degree (lineman, field engineer, substation electrician, plant electrician and controls analyst); or the HCC PSAV Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing certificate program; or the HCC PSAV Automotive Service Technology certificate program; or the HCC PSAV Bus Transit Technician I, II, III; or one of the HCC apprenticeship programs (ABC or IEC) may qualify for advancement.

This pathway is broadly designed to allow students to cater the major to their own interests, however, students are encouraged to meet with a full-time history faculty member to discuss their program interests in their first semester at HCC.

The criminology and criminal justice studies AS degree prepares you to work in corrections, juvenile justice, investigations, private security, homeland security or crime scene investigations. Graduates may transfer to a university to seek Bachelor’s degrees. Graduates of a law enforcement academy may receive college credit hours toward this degree. A variety of tracks are available depending on your career goals.

Career specializations may include fingerprint training, private security and investigations, victim advocacy, and crime analysis.

This pathway is for students who want to pursue a four-year degree in music, music education, therapy, publishing, or music history. Careers include performing, composing, teaching, music therapy, music critic, booking agent, concert manager, publishing, sales, music storeowner, instrument repair, audio and sound technician.

A Business Intelligence Specialist AS degree enables students to develop an understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics.  BI is a broad-based term that cuts across many disciplines of general business, health care, marketing, retail, banking, manufacturing, and criminal justice. BI allows an organization to statistically predict the future while giving the organization a competitive advantage.
