The industrial management technology AS degree prepares you for a job as an industrial manager and for advancement in a variety of technical fields. Students who have successfully completed one of the Tampa Electric Company training programs that articulate with this degree (lineman, field engineer, substation electrician, plant electrician and controls analyst); or the HCC PSAV Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing certificate program; or the HCC PSAV Automotive Service Technology certificate program; or the HCC PSAV Bus Transit Technician I, II, III; or one of the HCC apprenticeship programs (ABC or IEC) may qualify for advancement.

The HCC Religious Studies Associate in Arts degree pathway is for students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in religion, theology or other religious studies. The broad nature of this pathway allows it to be appropriate for future studies in liberal arts programs, philosophy, and other humanities-directed disciplines.

Please note only 60 of these credits are needed for AA degree completion. For each pathway, IDS 2891 is a degree requirement, and for most of the pathways, SLS 1106 is required for first-time-in-college students. CGS 2100 may be able to be tested out for no credit. The computer science engineering AA pathway degree is for students who want to pursue a Bachelor's degree in computer and information engineering sciences. Technical careers may include planning and developing new computer systems, computer programming, software development, systems analyst and technical writing.

The Communication AA pathway degree is for students who want to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. The Communication pathway is designed for students with an interest in group dynamics, health communication, persuasion, performance, leadership, gender issues, interpersonal and intercultural communication. This degree prepares students for a variety of careers in event planning, public relations, media, sales, management, marketing, human resources and hospitality.

The Foreign Language AA pathway is for students who plan to transfer to a Florida public university as a junior to complete a bachelors’ degree with a major or minor in a Foreign Language.

This broad interdisciplinary approach can lead to a variety of career paths in government and international affairs, business, journalism, service professions, education, criminal justice, social sciences and public health.

   The fire science technology AS degree prepares you for a career as a fire officer, fire instructor, fire investigator, fire safety inspector, hazardous materials technician, building inspector, or fire insurance salesperson.

The business administration AA pathway is for students who wish to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a Bachelor's degree in business, specializing in fields such as accounting, economics, finance, insurance, marketing, or management. Careers include management positions in nearly every business and industry, such as sales, accountant, labor negotiator and business owner.

• The dental AA pathway degree is for students who wish to pursue a Bachelor's degree toward a career in dentistry.

A Business Intelligence Specialist AS degree enables students to develop an understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics.  BI is a broad-based term that cuts across many disciplines of general business, health care, marketing, retail, banking, manufacturing, and criminal justice. BI allows an organization to statistically predict the future while giving the organization a competitive advantage.
