The business administration AA pathway is for students who wish to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a Bachelor's degree in business, specializing in fields such as accounting, economics, finance, insurance, marketing, or management. Careers include management positions in nearly every business and industry, such as sales, accountant, labor negotiator and business owner.

The medical office administration AS degree prepares you for roles such as medical office manager, medical coder, medical billing clerk, insurance processor and medical transcriptionist. Our office administration computer lab is an excellent resource for students.

This pathway is for students who want to pursue a four-year college/university degree in such fields as history, humanities, education, pre-law, political science, museum studies, journalism, library science, archeology/classics or international studies programs. This pathway is broadly designed to allow students to cater the major to their own interests, however, students are encouraged to meet with a full-time history faculty member to discuss their program interests in their first semester at HCC.

Please note only 60 of these credits are needed for AA degree completion. For each pathway, IDS 2891 is a degree requirement, and for most of the pathways, SLS 1106 is required for first?time?in?college students. CGS 2100 may be able to be tested out for no credit. The HCC Associate in Arts degree in Theatre is for students who wish to pursue a bachelor's in drama or theatre. This pathway provides a foundation in acting, technical design, back stage work and production. Additional careers include directing, writing and teaching.

Attention all Visual and Performing Arts Students:
Due to the sequential nature of arts tracks, beginning your chosen track of electives in your first semester of study is imperative. Postponement of arts electives will result in additional time spent to complete the curriculum. Therefore, it is strongly suggested that students avoid taking electives outside their designated track in order to avoid potential financial aid or graduation issues.

The HCC Statistics Associate in Arts degree pathway is for students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in statistics or a related field at a four-year university. The hospitality administration management AA pathway degree is ideal for students who want to pursue Bachelor's degrees in the field of hospitality. It allows a you the ability to complete the 36 hours of general education credits, while meeting the common prerequisite requirements for university admission into the hospitality administration program.
