Supply Chain Management - Concentration
Supply chain management connects you directly with the resources that keep businesses moving. Customer demands drive much of the world economy, and businesses that can best meet these needs in the most cost- and time-effective manner enjoy the most success. Developing systems and strategies for connecting people with goods, services, and other resources quickly is the core of the supply chain management concentration.

The department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has been a leader in innovation for more than a century.  The ECE faculty prepare students for the vast, fast-paced field of electrical and computer engineering by emphasizing the fundamentals, while teaching them how to think creatively and work collaboratively.

The mathematics research faculty at Colorado State is a driving force behind the graduate program’s success. Our students have been very successful finding jobs in academia, industry, government as well as K-12 teaching.

The Ethnic Studies major involves critically examining the interlocking forces of race, gender, class, sexuality, and other forms of social differentiation that shape the histories and experiences of racially marginalized groups. The programs of study interrogate how these socially constructed ideas impact distribution of social goods, affect life chances, shape identities and worldviews, and reproduce social inequalities. Drawing from interdisciplinary and comparative theoretical frameworks, we bring to bear issues of power, privilege, and social justice pertinent to the experiences of diverse populations in the U.S. and abroad. We are especially committed to nurturing civic-minded and culturally informed students who strive to strengthen the communities in which they reside. In support of the land-grant mission of CSU, students and faculty in the Ethnic Studies program engage with communities on and off campus in order to effect meaningful change in public policy and social life.

The Hospitality Management major combines courses in foodservice, lodging, event planning, nutrition, and business to provide students with a strong skill set for entry into hospitality management professions. Elective credits allow students to take courses in areas of interest to enhance their education. The curriculum has a strong emphasis on management skills required for success in the hospitality industry.

The Hospitality Management program maintains strong ties with the foodservice, lodging, and event planning industries locally, state-wide, and nationally to connect graduates with a wide variety of employment opportunities in the expanding commercial and non-commercial segments of hospitality management. The hospitality industry is the second largest employer in Colorado and the United States. The department oversees internships in the industry and aids in job placement upon graduation.

We recognize that success in the arts is being redefined in the 21st century, and that the skills needed to be a successful artist extend beyond the studio, stage, and performance hall. An innovative mind, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for the arts are all essential for success. These principles are not just exclusive to artists, but serve all students well, no matter where their career leads them. This program is offered by the LEAP Institute for the Arts, a special academic unit of Colorado State University’s College of Liberal Arts.

The B.F.A. in Art is considered the professional degree for studio art and art education majors, allowing you to explore various mediums and gain a foundational knowledge base in art history. You’ll get opportunities to learn from masters of their crafts as well as look back upon art throughout the ages, different forms of expression, and their impact on society.

Graphic Design - Concentration
The Graphic Design concentration is closely aligned with the artistry, practices, and standards of excellence in the contemporary design professions. With an emphasis on rich processes, conceptual problem-solving, and technical proficiency, students are able to create effective expressions of visual communication in a variety of print and digital media. Experimental explorations of typography, illustration, and design systems are expected from participants of the program, as well as applications of design that address social impact and awareness. Design theory, history, and professional practices are discussed regularly with faculty. Projects and activities are designed to prepare students for the varied challenges and opportunities for professionals in visual communications.

The International Studies major is an interdisciplinary program designed to help you explore and understand the nature of diverse cultures and peoples. You’ll learn a broad range of subjects, all of which contribute to a wide range of job prospects from government, academics, law and foreign service to communications, media, journalism, and beyond. Within the major, you’ll have multiple opportunities to travel, learn languages, and explore cultures around the world. This major includes an accelerated option for students to graduate on a faster schedule.

Latin American Studies - Concentration
This concentration aims to trace the similarities and differences among the Latin American countries, recognizing the historical origins of current conditions. Courses in history, economics, literature, sociology, political science, anthropology, art, and three years of Spanish give students a powerful tool for understanding and interpreting Latin America’s past and present.

The Department of Biomedical Sciences  is a major location for biomedical education from undergraduate through postdoctorate and for translational biomedical research for Colorado State University.  Faculty members’ interests vary greatly from reproductive biology and endocrinology to neurotransmitters and molecular signal transduction.

The organization and innovation management concentration in the CSU College of Business refines your natural leadership skills.
