Our Master of Engineering degree is a 30-credit coursework only degree program. The curriculum is divided into four different categories: core, foundation, depth, and breadth. The core and foundation courses are designed to develop a foundation in biomedical engineering. The depth courses allow students to gain more knowledge in a particular interest area while the breadth courses focus on advanced or applied mathematics.

The B.F.A. in Art is considered the professional degree for studio art and art education majors, allowing you to explore various mediums and gain a foundational knowledge base in art history. You’ll get opportunities to learn from masters of their crafts as well as look back upon art throughout the ages, different forms of expression, and their impact on society.

Printmaking - Concentration
Printmaking courses at the undergraduate level are structured to develop a strong personal artistic vision and instill the self-confidence necessary to allow ongoing creative growth through a variety of media. A sound technical background in Lithography, Screen-Printing, Intaglio, Relief Woodcut, Post-Digital methods and encouragement of experimental hybrid techniques will provide students with the professional skills needed to cultivate a robust studio practice and explore new innovative research based on that foundation. The community workshop atmosphere of the printmaking area immerses students in group collaboration as well as personal exploration, thus preparing each student for real-world occupational applications of their research. Through sharing visual concepts and technical investigations on a regular basis, students learn how to apply newly acquired knowledge productively and intuitively, while simultaneously developing skill sets desired by prospective employers. Interactive artistic dialog between highly motivated printmakers is a cornerstone to the printmaking curriculum, leading to a wide array of unique and diverse avenues for creative inquiry.

Evening MBA students challenge themselves to do more and to be more.  Multi-dimensional professionals from all fields meet on campus in Fort Collins – two evenings each week for 21 months – to immerse themselves in leadership studies with a focus on real-world application.  Evening MBA candidates learn from each other and from world-class faculty to acquire the skills and confidence to emerge as leaders ready to inspire.

Master of Accountancy candidates will learn the skills and gain the confidence to secure competitive management positions and exciting accounting roles in public firms or in industry.  The program offers you an opportunity to study general accountancy or specialize in one of three areas: taxation, data analytics and systems; and financial analysis, auditing and reporting.  These specializations let you focus your learning and prepare you to conduct targeted technical research and data analysis.

Performance - Concentration
CSU Theatre's Performance Concentration equips students with the skills needed to pursue a variety of fields related to their own creative and professional paths. Engaged with their passion and imagination, young performers receive rigorous training in text analysis, acting technique, movement, voice and speech, emotional expression, and critical thinking. In the process of understanding theatre, they make visceral connections between the physical, emotional, and scholarly as they harness their own stories and artistic vision.

The concentration emphasizes both the theoretical and practical aspects of theatre, and focuses on developing well-rounded, responsible artists, leaders, and communicators who value collaboration within an artistic community.

The Business major encourages critical thinking while exploring modern management theories, relevant business practices, and current industry trends. You’ll discover your interests along the way and begin to focus your studies based on your interests and talents. Then you can choose from 10 concentrations to merge your academic focus with your career goals.

Finance - Concentration
Every business has a distinct set of resources to consider — such as raw materials, human resources, products, or marketing — but everyone has one unifying resource they need to manage before they can pursue any of their goals: money.

By studying finance at the CSU College of Business, you’ll learn how to measure and analyze the ways that organizations grow and help them navigate through risks and toward success. If you’re interested in understanding how all the functions of a business are tied together and are a passionate problem-solver, a concentration in finance allows you to put your interests to work.

As a contemporary science and applied profession, psychology represents a rational and systematic attempt to understand human behavior by studying the processes of development, perception, learning, motivation and thinking, and the relationship of these processes both to the physiological and social functioning of humans and animals. The Department has 5 programs of study leading to a PhD in Psychology, as well as a terminal master’s program in Addictions Counseling.

Computer science is about creating innovative solutions to complex, real-world problems. Students in this major study step-by-step computational methods for solving problems by encoding, storing, tracking and transforming information. Computer science is much broader than just programming. It is informed by the theory and architecture of computing devices, and the tools and practices used to design and implement software.

The computer science major at CSU provides students a broad background in the field while simultaneously allowing students to focus on specific areas. In addition to a general computer science degree with the option for a minor in a field of their choice, we offer the following concentrations:

The department offers a wide range of specialized senior-level courses where students can explore in depth different areas of computer science including: big data, computer networks, distributed systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational biology / bioinformatics, human-computer interaction, graphics, database systems, compilers, parallel programming, object oriented design, and advanced topics in algorithms and theory of computer science.

The Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences offers a wide variety of graduate opportunities in cancer biology and oncology; occupational and environmental health (i.e., industrial hygiene, ergonomics); health physics, radiation sciences (i.e., radiobiology, radioecology, radiochemistry) epidemiology and toxicology.
