It offers technical-oriented, professional-grade training in GIS and geospatial technologies, and requires significant math, statistics, and natural science coursework. Unlike the major in geography, the GIS degree requires a minor or a second major in an area outside geography. Some popular choices among our GIS students include civil engineering, biology, journalism, and political science.

The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources is the application of geology and the natural sciences to issues of environmental sustainability, natural resource management, resource development, and conservation. This degree prepares students for careers in environmental geology, environmental science, resource management, environmental law, and environmental regulation.

The BA in Dance complements the University’s liberal arts program and allows students to pursue a second major or minor in an additional area of interest. Students are provided with a rigorous program of dance training, as well as the same opportunities as the other dance degrees to audition for all faculty and student performances.
