Help solve the biggest challenges of our time, from social injustices to climate change, when you enroll in the MA in Sustainability program at Hofstra University. This program takes a balanced approach in trying to understand how to make developed countries more sustainable while also addressing the sustainability crisis in the developing world. With a focus on entrepreneurship, community development and sustainability management, the program teaches students to be part of the emerging green economy. Women's Studies
The Women's Studies Program draws upon faculty with expertise in women’s and gender issues in the humanities, social sciences, and the arts. Courses in the program provide interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives on gender roles, allow students to examine the social, political, economic, intellectual, and cultural contributions of women past and present, and to study women’s and men’s lives in the context of changing gender roles.
