Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Teacher Education program at Illinois State will prepare you for a professional educator's license for teaching programs serving children birth to age 7 (grade 2). Following a first year foundations curriculum, students can choose a sequence within an individual studio. Within each sequence, faculty are actively engaged in introducing students to various technical skills and ideas specific to that discipline. The cohesive sequencing of courses within each studio area allows the student to build skills and knowledge towards a highly sophisticated level of work in that field of exploration.

Information Systems - Internet Application Development
Internet Application Development is a master's sequence in Information Systems and is ideal for students seeking advanced knowledge in web development. The program provides specialized education in emerging technologies, including mobile application development.

Based on your professional goals, you can choose to do a thesis, project, or take extra courses to complete the program.

Quantitative Economics is an interdisciplinary program between the Economics and the Mathematics departments. The sequence is designed for students who intend to pursue a double Master’s in Applied Economics and Mathematics/Statistics, for students interested in the quantitative aspects of Economics, and/or for students interested in enhancing their mathematics skills to pursue a Ph.D. in Economics in the future.

In addition to 22 hours of core courses in economic theory, you will take 12 or more hours of graduate-level math courses.

This is a STEM designated degree, which focuses on the systematic study of mathematical and statistical analysis of economic phenomena and problems. STEM designated degree programs offer additional benefits for students, including potential grant funded opportunities and, for international students, extended OPT study options.
