Health and Human Performance
Exercise Science is the study of movement and the associated functional responses and adaptations the body makes as a result of movement/exercise.

The Health and Human Performance (HHP) sequence gives you a well-rounded foundation in areas of Exercise Science, including physiology, biomechanics, and sports psychology. HHP also studies how different exercises and fitness programs affect the human body.

 The Master of Music in Collaborative Piano curriculum include collaboration with a myriad of instruments/voice ins:

• Advanced accompanying
• Keyboard ensemble
• Chamber music
• Large ensembles

Electives may include courses such as:

• Music history
• Music theory
• Pedagogy and literature

The MM in Collaborative Piano prepares graduates for employment as:

• A professional accompanist
• A chamber music musician
• A teacher of accompanying and/or chamber music.

The Biotechnology sequence provides M.S. students with broad training in major areas of biotechnology via lecture and seminar courses, laboratory courses, and original lab research culminating in the M.S. thesis.

Courses and thesis research may be in diverse areas including biological chemistry, cell and molecular biology, genetics, genomics, immunology and microbiology. Students learn to conduct basic or applied research in biotechnology areas, utilizing current techniques (e.g., protein biochemistry, DNA/genome manipulations, bioinformatics, transgenic organisms, immunological methods, flow cytometry, electron and confocal microscopy).

Because student needs and interests vary, there is flexibility in the Mathematics master's degree program at Illinois State University. In addition to allowing students to get a strong general background in mathematics, our program allows students to concentrate in:

Studio Arts Sculpture
The Wonsook Kim School of Art offers a comprehensive list of sequence options for a student interested in Studio Arts. The following are offered as areas of specialization: Ceramics, Drawing, Expanded Media, Glass, Printmaking, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Video, and Wood / Metal Design.

Following a first year foundations curriculum, students can choose a sequence within an individual studio. Within each sequence, faculty are actively engaged in introducing students to various technical skills and ideas specific to that discipline. The cohesive sequencing of courses within each studio area allows the student to build skills and knowledge towards a highly sophisticated level of work in that field of exploration.

The Department of Politics and Government offers a master's degree in Political Science in order to promote human knowledge and skills in the areas of scholarship, teaching, and service in and about the political dimensions of social life.

The Department of Politics and Government graduate program serves several types of students with a multi-track program. Marketing - Professional Sales
The Professional Sales sequence exposes students to the latest theories and practice in sales education, research, and the profession. Students complete three required courses in marketing and two required and three elective courses in professional sales. The program incorporates existing personal selling and sales management courses, and offers several specialized classes including: Key Account and Relationship Management, Professional Sales Planning and Analysis, and Advanced Professional Selling and Negotiation.
