Music Therapy
The Music Therapy sequence provides academic content and clinical experiences related to competencies outlined by the American Music Therapy Association.

Students who complete the Music Therapy degree are eligible to sit for the national board certification exam to obtain the credential MT-BC (Music Therapist - Board Certified), which is necessary for professional practice.

Mass Media - Media Arts
The mass media program at ISU consists of two tracks:

• Management, Promotion, & Sales
• Media Arts

As a mass media major, you will learn about the history of the media industries while practicing the business and creation of media in their coursework and hands-on experiences at our student media outlets:

• WZND Radio
• TV 10
• The Vidette
• Student Television Workshop

The Multidisciplinary Studies sequence of the Interdisciplinary Studies major is built around the offerings of two or more departments or schools. It is intended for the student who is seeking a baccalaureate degree without the specialization of a traditional major. The student, with the help of a faculty advisor, chooses the focus of the program by determining the departments or schools in which he or she wishes to pursue advanced work.

Students who complete the Multidisciplinary Studies sequence will earn a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and have their transcripts noted: "Major in Interdisciplinary Studies: Multidisciplinary Studies Sequence."

The Business Information Systems (BIS) curriculum provides a foundation for students to develop deeper expertise in business information systems activities. The BIS program is intended for those students who wish to move from entry-level jobs to top-level positions where the student would use a combination of business and technical knowledge to lead the design and development of leading-edge enterprise solutions, and maintaining business solutions at the enterprise level.

Spanish
The Spanish program at Illinois State University takes pride in offering small classes where students receive individualized attention and training in all aspects of language proficiency. Just as important, our undergraduates develop critical thinking skills and appreciation for diversity as they take courses in Hispanic cultures and literatures, as well as Spanish linguistics.

Our slate of offerings includes a sturdy base of fundamentals, on which students build their own program from a selection of electives of most interest to them. We also provide community-based service learning experiences and opportunities to participate in award-winning student organizations like our Spanish Club and Sigma Delta Pi, Illinois State's chapter of the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society.

Finally, our flexible study-abroad programs in Latin America and Spain—students can participate for as little as a week over spring break or for a full year—supply great opportunities for language development, cultural immersion, broadening perspectives, and friendships that have the potential to last a lifetime.

Information Systems - Network and Security Management
Network and Security Management is a master's sequence in Information Systems. The program is ideal for students wanting to focus on designing and securing networks and the information they carry. The sequence takes a detailed look into the issues involved in managing information security in organizations. It also covers modern technologies for the management and automation of networks.

Creative Technologies - Game Design
The Game Design Sequence in the Creative Technologies (CTK) program at Illinois State lets you forge your own paths in the industry.

This is where your amazing journey to become a professional actor begins. Under the hands-on mentoring and rigorous demands of the professional acting faculty you will be challenged to become citizens of the world and courageous theatre artists.

Opportunities to hone your craft on the stage are numerous, and we pride ourselves on providing training to prepare you for a life in the theatre or wherever your life leads.

Join in the excitement of the Acting program in the School of Theatre and Dance, where we play boldly.

Graphic Design at Illinois State fosters a collaborative environment engaging you with print and emerging digital media. Our program prepares you to contribute to positive change for the betterment of society.

Students graduating from the Graphic Design program can pursue successful careers in client-based design or self-initiated research. You'll have opportunities to work at design studios, advertising agencies, and diverse corporations or institutions.

Our alumni continue to be a part of the Wonsook Kim School of Art after graduation and we continue to harness professional relationships and networking connections between them and our current students through social media and CrossPlatform, the Graphic Design student club.
