Rangeland Sciences
Through hands-on course work, experiential learning opportunities and applied learning of rangeland ecology and management, Oregon State University’s B.S. in Rangeland Sciences degree program will prepare you to pursue high-demand, outdoor career opportunities on both private and public lands in areas such as soil and water conservation, managing for ecosystem goods and services, wildlife habitat management and sustainable land stewardship. The base program is designed to meet required coursework for federal employment as a Rangeland Specialist, and with a few other specific courses graduates may also meet requirements for Soil Conservationists and a few other 400-series federal positions.

Design & Innovation Management

Are you a creative-thinker who can help an organization be a leader in design and innovation? Are you interested in working with multi-disciplinary teams on tackling creative challenges? Our design and innovation management major will help you build the skills you need for a management role in design-related fields across many areas of industry, including large and small companies.

Our design and innovation management degree focuses on the intersection of design and business, bringing together analytic and creative problem-solving skills. You'll focus on how design can be integrated into an organization from a management and strategic perspective and learn the value that design and innovation can bring to an organization.

You'll learn to integrate and focus on the role of design in the creation and management of strategic, sustainable business advantages and customer solutions.

Your career skills are rounded out with fundamentals such as project management, principles of marketing, design thinking and process innovation, retail management, ethics and corporate social responsibility as well as the fundamentals of visual arts and art history.

Public Health

Geography and Geospatial Science
Geography is the study of Earth's environments, landscapes, peoples, and places. The OSU political science program investigates the stories behind the news headlines and teaches you skills to make up your own mind about the politics of laws that affect everyday issues. You will learn to think critically, write clearly and speak persuasively on diverse issues such as: assisted suicide, international terrorism, campaign finance, government involvement in health care and censorship.
