The School of Nuclear Science and Engineering offers graduate work leading toward the Master of Engineering, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Nuclear Engineering.

The nuclear engineering graduate degree is designed to prepare students for careers involved with the many beneficial applications of nuclear energy, radiation, and radioactive materials. Nuclear engineering professions are essential to society’s well-being since they enable significant public benefits through energy security, national defense, medical health, and industrial competitiveness.

International Year One in Business will prepare you to enter your next term of a bachelor’s degree program at Oregon State University. Upon successful completion of International Year One and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next term of undergraduate study at Oregon State University. Business Information Systems
The Business Information Systems curriculum will teach you to harness technology to help organizations achieve a competitive advantage in today's rapidly changing environment. You will gain a firm foundation in business administration and learn to architect, manage, develop and deploy information systems. Depending on your skills and interests you might become a business process analyst, IT project manager, data modeler, systems analyst, software quality tester, developer or database administrator, or you can choose from other technology-related business careers.

An INTO OSU Graduate Pathway program in Business Administration will prepare you to enter your next term of a master’s degree program at Oregon State University. Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next term of graduate study at Oregon State University. Business Administration
The Oregon State MBA offers a variety of degree programs and certificates to meet the needs of our students, and we offer programs as part-time and full-time in Corvallis, as well as programs in Portland.

Our students have a variety of academic backgrounds; students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business or a business minor will complete coursework that provides a solid foundation of business knowledge. Oregon State MBA programs are 60 credit-hours in length (45 credit-hours for students who qualify for the accelerated program) and include both core and track-specific coursework. Students who have earned an undergraduate business degree or business minor from an accredited institution within the past 10 years may be eligible to participate in our 45 credit-hour accelerated program.

Our Master's International Direct pairs a Direct Entry I-20 with customized support during the first term of students' graduate studies in MS Business. Students will benefit from increased support throughout the predeparture and academic journey as they study alongside domestic students.

Our Master of Science in Business (MSB) will give you focused exploration into a specific business discipline. It is an opportunity for you to build a strong foundation of business acumen and leadership qualities while giving you the tools to be an expert in the field.

Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences is an interdisciplinary graduate major that first introduces students to the elements of the Earth system and the processes of mass and energy flow among them through a set of core courses. Students then pursue focused graduate course work and research in the following concentration areas, directed by their program committee.

Atmospheric Sciences
The field of atmospheric science is inherently interdisciplinary, requiring knowledge of physics, chemistry, biology, math, and computational methods. Increasingly, atmospheric science has been expanding to include studies of the effect of the climate on humans (e.g., health) and vice versa. Scientists can focus on field work, satellite data analysis, modeling, or lab work, though many atmospheric scientists use a variety of methods to understand the atmosphere, and they study processes ranging from global to microscale. Atmospheric scientists also study the relationships between the atmosphere and other climate system components (oceans, sea ice, vegetation, etc.).

Geophysics
Geophysics is concerned with physical processes within and on Earth, especially the internal physical constitution of the planet, and seismic, gravitational, geothermal, geoelectrical, geomagnetic phenomena and their relation to geological processes. The geophysics concentration offers graduate work toward MA, MS.

Oceanography
Oceanography, the application of the sciences to the study of the oceans, is an interdisciplinary environmental science concerned with all processes: biological, chemical, geological, and physical, as well as the interactions between the ocean. The College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences graduate major offers MA, MS degrees with a concentration in oceanography.

Are you a creative-thinker who can help an organization be a leader in design and innovation? Are you interested in working with multi-disciplinary teams on tackling creative challenges? Our design and innovation management major will help you build the skills you need for a management role in design-related fields across many areas of industry, including large and small companies.

Our design and innovation management degree focuses on the intersection of design and business, bringing together analytic and creative problem-solving skills. You'll focus on how design can be integrated into an organization from a management and strategic perspective and learn the value that design and innovation can bring to an organization.

You'll learn to integrate and focus on the role of design in the creation and management of strategic, sustainable business advantages and customer solutions.

Your career skills are rounded out with fundamentals such as project management, principles of marketing, design thinking and process innovation, retail management, ethics and corporate social responsibility as well as the fundamentals of visual arts and art history.

If you are dedicated to creating better ways to feed or fuel the world now and in the future, studying crop science can ensure that you have a hand in the development of new, sustainable methods of agriculture for Oregon and the world. You'll gain practical experience in quality breeding methods, seed technology, entomology, weed management techniques and more.

The Department of Crop and Soil Sciences partners with growers across the state and around the U.S. to identify and solve challenges to crops from invasive pests to water use technology. Our goals are to increase the safe, sustainable production of food crops for people and animals, as well as energy crops, designed to generate power for our future energy needs.

The MfgE program lays the foundation for being a successful engineer. Along with an introductory industrial and manufacturing engineering course, you'll take courses in basic engineering science, math and statistics, chemistry and physics, and oral and written communication. The junior & senior year of your OSU MfgE education focuses on strengthening and extending your discipline-specific knowledge and experience. Core coursework in MfgE includes manufacturing materials and processes, production engineering, production planning and control, computer aided design and manufacturing, design of mechanical devises and work systems, lean manufacturing systems engineering, thermal–fluid sciences, design on experiments, simulation, and statistical quality control.

Earth Sciences
The undergraduate Earth Sciences degree has three distinct options that build on an integrated curriculum core which includes courses in Earth, ocean, atmospheric sciences, and field skills.

• Geology - the physical Earth: its history, interior structure, and processes that shape its surface
• Ocean Science - the physical, chemical, and biological workings of the ocean
• Climate Science - the climate system and its interrelationships with society

Environmental Sciences
The Environmental Sciences degree builds on the interdisciplinary strengths in the natural and social sciences at OSU. Our students learn broadly about environmental sciences from a variety of perspectives, while deeply exploring one area of specialization. Experiential learning is a key part of the degree program since participating in research or an internship provides an opportunity to actively engage in the field of environmental sciences outside the classroom. Students can choose to pursue either a major or a minor, both of which can be earned on campus in Corvallis or online through OSU Ecampus.
