The undergraduate Earth Sciences degree has three distinct options that build on an integrated curriculum core which includes courses in Earth, ocean, atmospheric sciences, and field skills.

• Geology - the physical Earth: its history, interior structure, and processes that shape its surface
• Ocean Science - the physical, chemical, and biological workings of the ocean
• Climate Science - the climate system and its interrelationships with society

Business Analytics
Oregon State University offers a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics to help meet the significant demand from today's organizations for business analytics knowledge and skills. The current trend of data mining, business analytics, business intelligence and big data is growing.

An INTO OSU Graduate Pathway program in Mechanical Engineering will prepare you to enter your next term of a master’s degree program at Oregon State University. Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next term of graduate study at Oregon State University. Mechanical Engineering
The Mechanical Engineering (ME) profession is dedicated to applying principles of physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics in the analysis, design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical components, devices, and systems.  Oregon State's graduate program in ME is designed to educate leaders who will develop and improve systems for transforming energy, health, materials, and information to meet the needs of society.

To be eligible for graduate studies, a baccalaureate or master’s degree in science, mathematics, or engineering is required.

Bioresource Research
BioResource Research (BRR) is an interdisciplinary biosciences major centered around student research. Students take biosciences core courses, complete an option (bioscience/agriculture/natural resource specialization) and do a research project of their choice with a faculty mentor.

American Studies
What does it mean to be American? And where does American-ness stem from? Who qualifies as “We, the People,” and does it matter? What is the American Dream? Who might it leave out? Why?

American studies students confront these complex questions, exploring the enduring political ideologies, moments of cultural awakening and diverse perspectives that make America what it is. It’s all up to interpretation and that’s the fun of it!

As an expert in American identity, you will spend your days examining the interplay of disciplines such as history, literature, political science and sociology, adding your insights to the work of scholars past. What amazing places it will take you is anyone’s guess.

Our goal is to help stimulate intellectual and aesthetic inquiry, develop our students' creative and technical skills, and graduate engaged, culturally aware citizens. Students here have the opportunity to choose from several options: painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and art history.

Comparative Health Sciences
The program of Comparative Health Sciences is a multi-disciplinary program offering graduate training towards M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. The program encourages applicants with interest in complex contemporaneous issues that require multi-disciplinary approach to be addressed. Faculty involved in the program have interests ranging from microbiology, ecology, immunology, nutrition, food science, bio-engineering, veterinary medicine, public health, human health, bioinformatics, mathematical modeling, microbiome, neuroscience and others.

The program encourages co-mentorship from different disciplines, but also accepts students working in traditional fields. The program has a strong international component and diversity of ideas and innovation is valued. Strong student involvement and participation in the program is sought.

The training involves classes, laboratory research, outreach activities, teaching and direct participation in a seminar series. The students are supported by graduate teaching, graduate assistantships, and scholarships provided by the program. The students program is designed individually to support the needs of innovative research. Graduate students are expected to be major participants in the scientific output of the program.

German

It is the official language of six European countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Belgium. In addition, a bachelor's degree in German is a great stepping stone to graduate or law school.

Our Master's International Direct pairs a Direct Entry I-20 with customized support during the first term of students' graduate studies in MEng Computer Science. Students will benefit from increased support throughout the predeparture and academic journey as they study alongside domestic students.

The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University provides a comprehensive, state-of-the-art education that prepares our students to be successful in engineering practice, advanced studies and research.

The computer science master's program provides advanced instruction beyond the undergraduate degree. It prepares students for careers in which a higher level of experience is required.
