Our design and innovation management major will help you build the skills you need for a management role in design-related fields across many areas of industry, including large and small companies.

Our design and innovation management degree focuses on the intersection of design and business, bringing together analytic and creative problem-solving skills. You'll focus on how design can be integrated into an organization from a management and strategic perspective and learn the value that design and innovation can bring to an organization.

You'll learn to integrate and focus on the role of design in the creation and management of strategic, sustainable business advantages and customer solutions.

Electrical and Computer Engineering

The field of electrical and computer engineering is revolutionizing technology and impacting diverse areas such as agriculture, environmental monitoring, forestry, health care, renewable energy and robotics. The ECE curriculum includes hand-on learning in which students get to apply their knowledge of electrical and computer engineering to create their own robot. Public Health

How do the actions of our past affect the current world? Students immerse themselves in a robust program to better understand contemporary global issues by searching for patterns and relationships from our history. In addition, students will gain well-rounded intellectual development and essential career skills in critical thinking, writing, argumentation and documentation.

Applied Economics

Ecological Engineering
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Ecological Engineering degree program offered through the Colleges of Agricultural Science and Engineering is a new degree program that is the first of its kind nationally at the undergraduate level. Ecological Engineering is the design of sustainable systems consistent with ecological principles that integrate human activities into the natural environment to the benefit of both. This approach emphasizes diversity, resilience and adaptation to maintain sustainability. Ecological Engineering deals with both fundamental processes and engineering applications on scales that range from microscopic to watersheds and beyond.

The Department of Crop and Soil Sciences partners with growers across the state and around the U.S. to identify and solve challenges to crops from invasive pests to water use technology. Our goals are to increase the safe, sustainable production of food crops for people and animals, as well as energy crops, designed to generate power for our future energy needs.
