An INTO OSU Graduate Pathway program in Business Administration will prepare you to enter your next term of a master’s degree program at Oregon State University. Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next term of graduate study at Oregon State University. Business Administration
The Oregon State MBA offers a variety of degree programs and certificates to meet the needs of our students, and we offer programs as part-time and full-time in Corvallis, as well as programs in Portland.

Our students have a variety of academic backgrounds; students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business or a business minor will complete coursework that provides a solid foundation of business knowledge. Oregon State MBA programs are 60 credit-hours in length (45 credit-hours for students who qualify for the accelerated program) and include both core and track-specific coursework. Students who have earned an undergraduate business degree or business minor from an accredited institution within the past 10 years may be eligible to participate in our 45 credit-hour accelerated program.

Food Science and Technology
Food Science and Technology concerns the chemistry and engineering necessary to deliver safe, appealing and convenient food products from the farm gate to the food marketer. The academic program integrates principles and concepts in the physical, biological and engineering sciences, and applies them to the scientific and technological aspects of food processing. The role of the food scientist is to successfully integrate these disciplines to assure an abundant, high quality and nutritious food supply.

American Studies
What does it mean to be American? And where does American-ness stem from? Who qualifies as “We, the People,” and does it matter? What is the American Dream? Who might it leave out? Why?

American studies students confront these complex questions, exploring the enduring political ideologies, moments of cultural awakening and diverse perspectives that make America what it is. It’s all up to interpretation and that’s the fun of it!

As an expert in American identity, you will spend your days examining the interplay of disciplines such as history, literature, political science and sociology, adding your insights to the work of scholars past. What amazing places it will take you is anyone’s guess.

Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is the multidisciplinary study of gender and women's lives and experiences. Course work explores women's realities in such areas as the political and social sciences, health, psychology, history, literature, and the arts. Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies programs grew out of the women's movement, involving understandings of discrimination in society and a need to celebrate different women's strengths, contributions, and forms of resistance.

Our program focuses on women of color feminisms, transnational feminisms, and queer feminist studies, offering MA students critical foundations in both theory and practice. We offer our students both the intellectual and applied skills to serve as activist scholars and global citizens, prepared to engage matters of social justice within public, private, and academic spheres.

The Digital Communication Arts degree focuses on the storytelling capacity of media and prepares students to be successful navigators of ever-changing technology. Students in this major will learn alternative writing approaches, nonlinear storytelling, multiple formats, and how mediated storytelling affects the story itself. They investigate how our culture will change as people shift from multiple streams of communication to information flow on a single device, and how the structures of traditional media will adapt. Courses focus on several dimensions of media adoption and adaptation including access and inclusivity, personalization and privacy, science and business. New media requires continuous research and development. Practitioners will need to be prepared to be life-long learners.

An undergraduate degree in Chemistry opens a gateway to many professions or further studies in graduate school or professional schools, like medical school.  A Chemistry degree provides a solid foundation for many professions including teaching, forensics, biotechnology, medicine, materials science and nanotechnology, chemical processing, electronics, agricultural and food science, oceanography, and environmental science.  At OSU, we provide a very flexible curriculum that can be tuned to your interests.  Check out the options we have for you!

An English degree is about more than the book. English majors learn to see complex problems in their full richness and don’t take the first answer, or the simplest answer, as truth. In our courses, all kinds of texts – from medieval poems to postmodern novels, adapted screenplays to literary criticism itself – appear as windows into the cultures and conditions in which they were produced. English majors develop habits of mind attuned to the reasons why people do what they do and write what they write. Our graduates are engaged, empathetic people pursuing a creative, critical, and useful degree.

Chemical Engineering
Chemical engineering is the study and modeling of systems where heat and fluid flow are coupled with chemical reactions. Examples of systems are the human body, ground water, the atmosphere, the ocean, and chemical reactors. Natural systems are measured and modeled in order to understand present and future behavior. Man-made systems are specifically designed to convert raw materials into more useful products.

Making useful products requires using mathematics and science to plan, develop, design, operate, and improve processes. Some processes are micro-scale, as in computer chip manufacturing, and some are large-scale, as in petroleum refining. Typical products from these processes include computer chips, solar cells, batteries, pharmaceuticals, plastics, synthetic fibers, composite materials, pulp and paper, and consumer products ranging from detergents to cosmetics. Chemical engineers find employment in large high-tech companies, environmental consulting firms, large commodity companies and small software companies. Employment prospects for graduates in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest are strong.

The School of Psychological Science offers students a variety of educational avenues that provide the necessary tools for competency in, and appreciation for, psychology as a scientific discipline.

In addition to classes whose contents span the many sub disciplines of psychology, the School of Psychological Science at Oregon State values the intellectual contributions of its students and offers a number of opportunities for research experience.
