International Year One in Science will prepare you to enter your next semester of a bachelor's degree program at Saint Louis University. Upon successful completion of International Year One and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your second year of undergraduate study at Saint Louis University. This transition from an INTO program to a university degree program is called progression.

Biochemistry
Saint Louis University's Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry is designed for students interested in the applications of chemistry to the life sciences. The program prepares students for professional schools such as medicine, dentistry, law and pharmacy, and provides excellent preparation for those interested in working in biochemistry, molecular biology or biotechnology.

• Graduates will be able to use programming and other computer science skills to analyze and interact with data.
• Graduates will be able to apply statistics to analyze data sets.
• Graduates will be able to acquire and manage complex data sets.
• Graduates will be able to use technical skills in predictive modeling.
• Graduates will be able to visualize data to facilitate the effective presentation of data-driven insights.

Offered through Saint Louis University's School for Professional Studies, the Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Development curriculum will teach you the skills needed to work effectively as a self-aware, reflective change leader. You will learn to improve organizational dynamics through sound leadership and organizational development practices. 

Through assessments, reflections and project-based learning, you will strengthen your leadership competencies while learning with a network of peers from around the world with a diverse range of academic and professional backgrounds. You can also earn a graduate certificate that complements a master’s degree, often without taking additional credits. This allows you to tailor the program to your specific interests.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Saint Louis University offers graduate programs of advanced study and research leading to Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in mathematics. Due to the low student-faculty ratio, graduate students receive extensive individualized instruction.

Medical Laboratory Science
Saint Louis University's Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) degree prepares graduates to take a national certification exam to become a certified laboratory professional for a career as a health care professional in laboratory medicine. Medical laboratory science professionals save lives by performing and assuring the reliability of tests that provide objective information used in the early detection, diagnosis, monitoring and effective treatment of disease.

The B.S. in Health Management is offered through the College for Public Health and Social Justice, which is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. Health management is a major for students interested in business, health care, and health and wellness in communities.
