Fieldwork and Research Opportunities
SLU's program offers students a practice-integrated education, including a 12-week internship with senior leaders in many of the nation's top health systems and health care organizations. Internship experiences are based on students' individual goals, objectives and preferences. Students are transformed into knowledgeable, ethical professionals prepared for a range of management careers across the health sector. Applied, practical projects are an important means of professional growth. In addition to the internship between years one and two of the program, students will work on multiple applied projects throughout the curriculum.

Students in Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business Master of Accounting (M.Acc.) program enhance their professional accounting abilities while developing strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Our accounting graduates have a long history of success on the CPA exam, with pass rates exceeding both the Missouri and national averages. Our graduates have also earned the Missouri gold medal on several occasions.

Curriculum Overview
SLU's Chaifetz School of Business, with its continuing mission to provide excellence in business education, developed the M.Acc. program to help students gain superior ethical, technical and professional accounting skills. The program provides in-depth expertise in general accounting, taxation and auditing.

The program consists of 30 credits of advanced coursework with between 15 and 21 credits in accounting. The remaining credits will be completed in business electives determined in consultation with the program director. Pre-program requirements in economics, accounting, finance, mathematics and statistics may be required of students without sufficient functional background.

Saint Louis University’s master’s program in artificial intelligence prepares students to apply artificial intelligence methods both efficiently and ethically in order to solve difficult problems and impact the well-being of society.

It also provides a solid scientific and health-oriented curriculum for professional or graduate education. The goal of many students in the health sciences program is to become prepared for professional and research careers in the rapidly changing world of health, with special emphasis on the holistic context in which health care is delivered. Students in the health information management concentration are specifically prepared for diverse career opportunities in health information fields and to take the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) nationally recognized credentialing exam offered by the American Health Information Management Association.
