Economics is the study of how individuals, firms and nations make choices when confronted with limited resources. At Saint Louis University, economics majors learn to apply theory and problem-solving skills while balancing public policy with the choices faced by today’s society.

Saint Louis University's Bachelor of Arts in French program, offered by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, aims to develop students’ competency in the language, while increasing their knowledge of the French-speaking world.

Communities and organizations in the 21st century require professionals with interdisciplinary skills and preparation to handle many complex challenges. The Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice (MACCJ) degree prepares students to meet these challenges by providing them with a core criminological knowledge foundation and the opportunity to gain further skills and enhance their graduate education by selecting one of three diverse concentrations:

• Administration of Justice
• Emergency Management
• Treatment and Rehabilitation

The MACCJ degree prepares graduates to be advanced practitioners in a variety of community and justice agency/organizational settings. The program is offered in variable formats: most classes are offered on campus in the evening but one concentration, emergency management, is currently offered online only.

International Year One in Health Information Management will prepare you to enter your next semester of a bachelor's degree program at Saint Louis University. Health Information Management
Saint Louis University's health information management minor is an introduction to the management of the important asset of health information and can complement the major of any student interested in health care.

Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship focuses on preparing individuals for personal and financial success through the starting of their own firms or social ventures, taking their place in the management of the family firm or assuming a position of leadership as a corporate entrepreneur introducing new products/services or opening new markets.

English
Writing is central to all aspects of Saint Louis University's program in English. In all English courses, students hone their ability to write and to reflect upon what they read.

These courses enhance both personal creativity and professional competence. Forensic science is the scientific method of gathering and analyzing evidence. The forensic science major at Saint Louis University is an interdisciplinary program that employs the methods, tools and perspectives of biology, chemistry, anthropology, sociology, physics, mathematics and medicine to better understand the intersection of law and science.

Learn project strategy, contract management and project management math as you pursue industry certifications with the Master of Science in Project Management program offered through Saint Louis University's School for Professional Studies. Project-based learning and class simulators will prepare you to promote the widespread applicability of the five basic project management processes as outlined in the PMBOK®: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
