History
Informed, engaged, creative: Students of history at SLU learn the values and skills foundational to a wide range of careers. Open the door to your future by studying the past. History majors go on to become leaders in fields including law, public policy, education, business, medicine, and technology. They work in higher education and government, for non-profits and NGOs, and as entrepreneurs and marketing associates.

Students that begin the program as freshmen spend their first three years completing the required liberal arts and science prerequisite courses. Students who meet academic and professional behavior requirements continue into the two-year professional phase of the program after their junior year.

The two-year professional phase of the program includes coursework in injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion and education, emergent care, examination and clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Students participate in clinical experiences each semester in a variety of practice settings.

Biomedical Engineering

Saint Louis University's Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics degree is offered through the College for Public Health and Social Justice, which is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. Using the American Statistical Association's guidelines for undergraduate data science programs, the curriculum trains students in the management, analysis, and interpretation of data within the context of public health and health care. Radiation Therapy
If you choose to major in radiation therapy at Saint Louis University, you will learn to treat cancer patients with high-energy radiation using highly specialized equipment. You will focus on helping plan and administer prescribed doses of radiation to affected areas as directed by a radiation oncologist.
