Saint Louis University has taught Russian studies for more than 50 years and is the only institution in the St. Louis region that provides a major in Russian studies.
Russian is often in the news from political scandals and international hacking incidents to interference in regional and global conflicts and sanctions by the international community. Yet Russia remains a leading player on the world stage, since it covers about one-eighth of the world's surface with lands that are rich in oil and natural resources. Cybersecurity
Offered through Saint Louis University's School for Professional Studies, our Master of Science in Cybersecurity curriculum will teach you to apply information security principles to analyze, detect and mitigate vulnerabilities and intrusions to your organization’s cyberinfrastructure. You will also gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of the social, policy, ethical and legal aspects of security and privacy.

Students who graduate from Saint Louis University's meteorology programs are trained to be meteorologists. They study the dynamics of air motion; physical processes such as transfer of radiation; and convection resulting in severe storms, flash floods and hurricanes. Research is underway at SLU on heavy precipitation, regional climate and air quality using numerical weather prediction models. Faculty members collaborate with research meteorologists at national centers, as well as operational meteorologists at the St. Louis National Weather Service forecast offices.
