Chemistry
You’ll follow a course of study endorsed by the American Chemical Society (ACS), which is highly respected in the field. You may also join Suffolk's award-winning ACS student chapter. Students involved in this co-curricular activity host speakers and enjoy participating in community service projects, for example volunteering at the nearby Museum of Science or the Boston Children’s Museum. Additionally, opportunities may be available to attend ACS regional and national meetings to learn about current research from experts in the field and even present your own research.

Politics, Philosophy & Economics
Suffolk University's Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE) program is the first of its kind in the Boston area. An interdisciplinary major that draws from three academic departments, PPE will give you a foundation in policy, ethics, and economics. You'll develop the comprehensive understanding of complex social and political challenges you'll need to help solve them.

Radiation Science
The radiation science major emphasizes laboratory and research training rather than clinical training, making it ideal preparation for medical research careers and graduate study. By integrating the study of biology, radiation, physics, chemistry, and mathematics, our well-rounded program prepares you for a career in healthcare or any of the sciences. Majors in the program have the opportunity to complete an internship at a regional healthcare facility, including the possibility of interning at a top medical center, even though clinical training isn't a requirement of this program.

Concentration in Pure Mathematics
Pure math is an in-depth study of the subject that provides excellent preparation for graduate school and for a career as a mathematician. Mathematicians create models to solve practical problems in business, government, and industrial or scientific research and development. This concentration is also ideal for aspiring teachers.

Studio Art
The Bachelor of Art in Studio Art is specifically designed to help you prepare for a creative career in the visual arts. This major offers an immersive studio experience integrated with academic programming that focuses on arts-related career pathways.

Today’s artists utilize cross-disciplinary skills in order to develop successful careers. In the studio art major, you will engage in a comprehensive studio experience in the center of Boston, while you pursue career opportunities in related fields. Suffolk University is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).

Our core program philosophy combines an extensive exposure to materials and techniques with critiques and discussions that focus on developing each student’s unique artistic voice. Developing a responsive artistic practice and comprehensive career skills is essential for studio art students. Our academic partners at Suffolk provide career opportunities in fields closely associated with studio art. In many cases, the rigor, curiosity, and collaborative attitude instilled in the studio art program translates directly and effectively into a wide spectrum of careers.

At Suffolk, you can earn either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Biology, depending on your area of focus. Interior design
Interior designers use their talents and expertise to transform and enhance society. As an interior design student at Suffolk University, you'll gain the knowledge and skills to influence the way people live, work, play, grow, move, and bond. Innovation and creative problem solving, protection of natural resources, attention to building codes and laws, and understanding human behavior will all play a role in your work.

As a Bachelor of Fine Arts candidate in interior design, you'll develop a comprehensive knowledge of design theory, history, and communication and design skills. Your studies will explore sustainable and socially conscious design, lighting, and furniture design, as well as code adherence and professional practices. You’ll also develop fluency in the two- and three-dimensional design software and computer hardware contemporary designers use.

Studying interior design here is truly immersive. You'll find endless inspiration in Boston's interior landscapes. Our city is filled with Victorian brownstones, industrial lofts, and every style in between—all with their own distinctive look inside. Along with these inspiring spaces, Boston is home to many prestigious interior design and architectural firms. Boston's showrooms and galleries also love working with Suffolk interns.

This major combines courses in statistics, information technology, and business, to help you build strong business decision-making skills. You’ll learn how to use business data to improve efficiency, solve problems, identify new opportunities, and prepare for the future.

When you graduate, you’ll be able to analyze large volumes of data and make tangible recommendations that help organizations make smart decisions and solve challenges. Learn to track, measure, and report on data sets and business statistics for both micro and macro applications.
