Law
Our undergraduate law programs are intended as legal employment credentials. They'll prepare you to work as a paralegal in a law office, corporate office, government agency, or other offices working with the law.

You'll start by taking two foundation courses that focus on effective speaking, concise writing, and critical thinking and then courses in writing, online journalism, and media law. Next, you’ll gain specific knowledge and hands-on experience in journalism.

Concentration in Broadcast
In the broadcast journalism concentration, you’ll gain invaluable experience in our capstone course Suffolk U News. Internships are also vital. Suffolk students regularly work at New England Cable News, PBS, and the local affiliates of NBC, CBS, and ABC, and Fox News and ESPN.

With a physics major, you can study the universe from the largest galaxies to the smallest particles. Physics incorporates other sciences, including astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth science, and engineering. With this versatile degree, your job search will have forward momentum.

Biology
Suffolk University's biology major is especially collaborative and career-focused. Many of your classes will have fewer than 20 students, and you'll benefit from your professors' individual attention, thanks to our low faculty-to-student ratio.

Concentration in Pure Mathematics
Pure math is an in-depth study of the subject that provides excellent preparation for graduate school and for a career as a mathematician.
