Applied Politics
Suffolk’s Master’s in Applied Politics (MAAP) program focuses on the American political system, electoral and advocacy campaigns, and public policy. We provide a foundation of knowledge in how to access and influence the political process.

Our undergraduate law programs are intended as legal employment credentials. They'll prepare you to work as a paralegal in a law office, corporate office, government agency, or other offices working with the law.

Computer Science
As a computer science major at Suffolk University, you'll study new ways of thinking and problem-solving. You'll analyze data and then model your results, and recognize patterns—all thanks to computers' increased power and advancements in software.

Our blend of computer science and math courses will give you the foundation you need to master key concepts in this multifaceted field. You'll apply your skills to help address problems in physical and biological phenomena, in human behavior, social, financial and business systems.

Suffolk University's biology major is especially collaborative and career-focused. Many of your classes will have fewer than 20 students, and you'll benefit from your professors' individual attention, thanks to our low faculty-to-student ratio.

Your experiences in our classrooms and labs will teach you scientific research methods and reporting; your experiences interning at Boston's premier hospitals and research facilities will deepen your knowledge and broaden your network.

At Suffolk, you can earn either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Biology, depending on your area of focus. The skills you need to succeed in the fast-paced, competitive world of advertising. The creativity to dream up buzz-worthy campaigns. You'll hone both as a Suffolk University advertising major.

You’ll learn advertising industry basics, including how to create ads and plan campaigns that appeal to industry brands and nonprofits' target markets. You’ll build ads from the ground up, writing copy and designing visual elements. Plus, you'll study the fundamentals of media planning and buying as they apply to television, radio, print, online, and social media advertising.

A whole world of experiential learning awaits just outside our classrooms, too. At Suffolk, it's easy to commute to internships at nearby advertising agencies, TV stations, and other top media employers in Boston.

Environmental Science
Take your passion for the environment and help preserve our planet for future generations. Your quest to save the world begins when you major in environmental science.

With this major, you’ll examine environmental issues from an interdisciplinary scientific perspective. You’ll explore how humans affect nature in order to find solutions to the world’s environmental problems. You’ll build on foundation courses in environmental science with coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, and math. You’ll also study the social, cultural, and political aspects of the environment through courses in ethics and environmental policy. You’ll take your science courses in our brand-new building that features state-of-the-art labs and research facilities.

Art History
Art embodies the rich tapestry of human history and cultures across the world. Art history examines how images and monuments communicate and how they function in society: to teach and to move; to exalt and to incite.

As an art history major, you'll gain access to other cultures, other eras, and other ways of thinking. You'll also get ready for your junior year abroad and for an entire lifetime of thinking and living with global and historical perspectives.

Art history majors develop a keen eye plus excellent research, analytic, critical thinking, and communication skills—launching pads for many careers. Suffolk’s art history graduates have gone on to pursue advanced studies in art history, archive management, museum studies, and law. Others have found meaningful careers in a range of arts-related venues such as galleries and museums, auction houses, archives, and nonprofit cultural institutions.

With a Master in Management and Organizational Leadership, you can develop all the skills needed to hit the ground running in a leadership role.

Suffolk’s MMOL curriculum is purpose-built to teach you how to think like a leader and ground you in organizational behavior, negotiation, interpersonal skills, leadership, team-building, conflict resolution, successful management of people and projects, and to get first-hand exposure to global business practices with a required travel seminar. The MMOL program prepares you to excel in a variety of leadership roles such as human resource specialist, operations manager, contract administrator, training and development manager, project coordinator, and more.
