Suffolk’s MSF degree gives you a high-level understanding of corporate finance, portfolio management, investment banking, and international finance, among other topics. You can earn your MSF degree in as few as nine months through a customized track that lets you focus on a career-relevant curriculum.

Financial Wealth Management
Suffolk’s Wealth Management major combines courses in finance, investment analysis, risk management, and retirement, estate, and financial planning to help you build strong analytical and decision-making skills. When you graduate, you will be prepared for a career in wealth management with a major firm, or to start your own wealth management business, helping individuals and companies plan for their financial futures. In addition, because the wealth management curriculum meets Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board requirements, you will be eligible to take the CFP exam.

Biology
Suffolk University's biology major is especially collaborative and career-focused. Many of your classes will have fewer than 20 students, and you'll benefit from your professors' individual attention, thanks to our low faculty-to-student ratio.

Your experiences in our classrooms and labs will teach you scientific research methods and reporting; your experiences interning at Boston's premier hospitals and research facilities will deepen your knowledge and broaden your network.

At Suffolk, you can earn either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Biology, depending on your area of focus. You’ll begin with a well-rounded assortment of courses in both the lab and classroom focusing on evolution, genetics, ecology, bioethics, and physiology.

The Corporate Accounting & Finance major combines finance principles with accounting practices to prepare you for a career in corporate finance. This major provides students with a strong background in financial accounting in addition to financial analysis and decision making that is required for positions such as CFO or financial manager.

Students will develop an understanding of capital structure, financial planning and analysis, and project valuation which will help them determine where and how to invest corporate funds.

Studio Art
The Bachelor of Art in Studio Art is specifically designed to help you prepare for a creative career in the visual arts. This major offers an immersive studio experience integrated with academic programming that focuses on arts-related career pathways.

Today’s artists utilize cross-disciplinary skills in order to develop successful careers. In the studio art major, you will engage in a comprehensive studio experience in the center of Boston, while you pursue career opportunities in related fields. You’ll learn to be an interdisciplinary problem-solver, drawing from the natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences. You’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of complex environmental issues. Focus your studies with a concentration in environmental policy or urban environmentalism. Theatre
Suffolk's Theatre Department is student-centered. We'll help you shine, whether you choose to act; write, direct, and design your own original plays; master stage or arts management; intern with leading theatre companies in Boston and abroad; and so much more. Suffolk’s English majors explore the powerful connections between literary themes and modern issues. Biochemistry
Like chemistry, our biochemistry program follows a coursework sequence endorsed by the American Chemical Society (ACS), which is highly respected distinction as you go on to graduate and professional work. You can also join Suffolk's award-winning student chapters of the ACS, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), or our Health Professions Club. These clubs enjoy activities ranging from invited scientist lectures to community service projects. You might also volunteer at the nearby Museum of Science or at the Cambridge Science Festival. Additionally, opportunities are available to attend the national meetings of the ACS and ASBMB to learn about current research from experts in the field and even present your research in a national forum.

Suffolk's biochemistry major positions you well for careers in rapidly developing fields in the life sciences. More than half of our recent graduates go on to work as lab technicians and research assistants in academic, biotech/pharma, and hospital labs. Many other alumni go on to health professional schools to become nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, and doctors, or to a variety of graduate programs in biochemistry, food science, and pharmacology.
