The French and Francophone focus suits students with wide-ranging interests in French and Francophone studies to complete a French major without taking all courses in French. The program provides instruction in the languages, cultures, and civilizations of East Asia (China, Japan, and Korea); Asian humanities and religions; and Asian-American studies. Individual programs may emphasize the language, linguistics, literature, history, thought, religion, and society (ancient or modern) of more than one cultural area (China, Japan, or Korea). Students may specialize in the East Asian region or one or more discipline-focused studies of East Asian subjects. Advanced study of Chinese, Japanese, or Korean is required.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Production with an emphasis in Design and Technical Production offers comprehensive training for students who seek careers in the professional theatre. This training includes a balance of academic study of theatre and practical production experience in one or more of three performance spaces. Students select from seven areas of focus: costume design, costume production, lighting design and production, stage management, sound design, scenic design, and technical direction. Classes provide hands-on, real-world, practical application of skills through onstage productions throughout the duration of the program. Students study with acclaimed faculty members who are actively working professionally in the field.
