Public health professionals design and implement programs to ensure all communities have access to crucial health services and safe living conditions. The University of Arizona's Bachelor of Science with a major in Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. The Public Health Practice emphasis is one of several areas of concentration within the major. Public Health Practice students study health program evaluation, health policy, law and ethics. Undergraduates complement their coursework with an internship that provides them with professional public health experience working with underserved populations. The Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Water Resource Economics prepares students to become responsible leaders in the management of natural resources through coursework in quantitative methods, economics, politics and communication. Students not only learn how to formulate policies for responsibly managing natural resources, but they also gain skills in business management, human resources, and food and fiber production. Nationally recognized for its teaching and research, the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics adheres to a tradition of discovery, education and service. Faculty and students vigorously engage in research in environmental and natural resource policy, regional economics and development, and agricultural production and marketing.

The Business Management major at the University of Arizona is designed for students seeking managerial positions in large or small organizations. Students learn how to work with people in the areas of  hiring, training and coordinating. They also develop the foundation for becoming a manager of a business or organizational unit. Students seeking their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Business Management must complete the Pre-Business curriculum to earn professional admissions status to the University of Arizona's esteemed Eller College of Business Management. In the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science program with a Law and Public Policy emphasis, students prepare for a career as a change-maker in law, as a government official as they study not only the foundations of political theory, institutions, international relations, foreign affairs and more, but also the how-to of making policy and progress happen. Students seeking their Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a Hispanic Literature emphasis will take language courses in both Spanish and Portuguese while studying Hispanic literature. Outside of the classroom, students hone their Spanish language conversation skills in Spanish Club or their Portuguese-speaking skills in Bate Papo. Various study abroad programs through the University of Arizona provide Spanish majors the opportunity for additional language and cultural immersion, adding to their undergraduate experience.

Become a leader in historic preservation and learn about the importance of heritage conservation to preserve and create more sustainable built environments.Students in the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments program with a Heritage Conservation Emphasis explore the value of historic structures and landscapes and the reasons for preserving and adapting them. The faculty bring a breadth of experience and depth of expertise to coursework, teaching students how the preservation and adaptation of historic structures advances environmental, cultural and economic sustainability. Students learn the processes and protocols of conservation as well as current issues in historic preservation and resource management. Graduates are prepared for careers as managers at nonprofit organizations, leaders of government agencies, and consultants in heritage conservation and historic preservation.

Aerospace engineers advance space exploration and improve aircraft design. Aerospace and defense is one of the strongest industrial sectors in the United States; Arizona is a significant player, and the University of Arizona is a major pipeline for aerospace engineers. Students in the Aerospace Engineering Bachelor of Science program learn to design and maintain spacecraft, commercial aircraft, fighter jets, missiles, rockets and satellites. They graduate with working knowledge of aerodynamics, control system design, gas dynamics, solid and fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
