Identify important strategies, such as green infrastructure and water harvesting, that we can employ to design innovative and sustainable landscapes. The importance of the role that landscapes play in the built environment is at the center of the Sustainable Landscapes Emphasis of the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments program. Urban and Regional Development is the study of economic development and sustainability of our built and natural environments. This Bachelor of Science addresses questions of urban and regional growth, location of economic activity, land development and real estate. Students learn to analyze data, use cartographic and geographic information systems and gain hands-on training in the field. Additionally, students learn interactively in remote-sensing laboratories. Upon graduation, they enter the workforce with directly applicable skills such as teamwork and collaboration; analytical research; a working knowledge of industry software; design; strategic thinking; and understanding of planning law and legislation.

Students earning the Bachelor of Music in Performance with an emphasis in Euphonium can take advantage of the Fred Fox School of Music's two concert bands, a select wind ensemble, two jazz bands, numerous jazz combos and a large and challenging orchestra program. In addition to these performance opportunities, students benefit from personalized attention and instruction. This includes a weekly lesson, a studio class, daily warm-ups and technique classes, plus ensemble and chamber coaching.
