The Bachelor of Arts in Applied Humanities with an emphasis in Spatial Organization & Design Thinking provides an innovative approach to understanding and affecting the physical world, bringing a humanities perspective to the future of the built environment. The program offers courses in sustainability, digital media, fabrication technology, and more, preparing you for jobs that communicate about-and effect change in-buildings, cities, and landscapes. Students are required to complete an Engineering Senior Design Project. Alternatively, interdisciplinary design or internship experience can be considered on a case-by-case basis. Chemistry is the study of the properties and reactions of the natural and synthetic substances that constitute the world around us. The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry brings together the disciplines of physics, materials science, medicine and biology to give students a strong theoretical background while teaching them how to apply that knowledge to a range of biological and physical systems. The conservatory-style program for the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Production with a Professional Actors Training Program emphasis prepares students to embark on a career as a working actor. Small class sizes allow faculty to focus individualized attention on students, encouraging collaboration and experimentation. Classes include eight semesters of Stanislavsky-based acting training; four semesters of voice and movement; stage combat classes; audition technique courses; screen acting classes; and professional development and business acumen that culminate in a showcase for leading industry professionals in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and major regional markets.

Our planet is more than meets the eye. Explore Earth from its origin and history to its components and how they interact with each other. Students who select the Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with a Geology emphasis take an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the planet. In this top-ranked program, students learn scientific research skills; gain experience working with data and technology in the field and in the laboratory; and study the Earth's origin and history, as well as the planet's components and how they interact with one another. Geology students participate in a Capstone Summer Field Camp in the later part of their program that provides hands-on experience applying their content knowledge in the field.
