Mass Communications-M.A.
The Master of Arts in Mass Communications degree requires 39 credit hours, including at least 30 hours of structured coursework and successful completion of a final thesis or applied research project. The Master of Arts in Mass Communications is earned through one of two concentrations: Media Studies or Strategic Communication Management.

The media studies concentration uses a broad approach to study mass media. This is ideal for students who wish to explore how media shapes the world and, in turn, how the world shapes the media.

The strategic communication track focuses on communication as a management function in an organization. This perspective integrates public relations, advertising, and marketing communication into a single focus.

Electrical Engineering
The Electrical Engineering major offers study in all areas fundamental to the analysis, design, and development of electrical devices and systems. ?The areas covered by the major include foundational topics such as circuits and electrical power, to applications such as Internet of Things, Smart Grid, Security,  and Data Analytics. The major offers curriculum tracks that include: Bioelectrical Systems, Communication Systems, Energy, Power and Sustainability, Mechatronics, Robotics and Embedded Systems, Micro and Nano-scale Systems and Wireless Systems. Psychology
 The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology offers students a well-rounded liberal arts education, relevant to many areas of study both inside and outside of the social and behavioral sciences. The program provides excellent training for qualified students who wish to pursue graduate work in such disciplines as Clinical, Cognitive and Neural Sciences or Industrial Psychology, Education, Gerontology, Counseling, Management, Medicine, Law, and other human service programs. Entrepreneurship
A major in Entrepreneurship is intended for those students interested in the possibility of self-venturing or who may someday work in an entrepreneurial firm. Upon completion of this major, students will be especially prepared to leverage their knowledge to work in management positions within high growth, innovative firms or to take their own idea to market. This major utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to education thus providing a well-rounded knowledge of business.

Students will learn the creative nature of idea/opportunity identification and evaluation, the unique skills necessary to build an entrepreneurial firm, and the ability to interact with local community resources and mentors.

This thesis-based degree provides graduate training in conservation, biodiversity, ecology, organismal biology and taxonomy . Graduates of this program find careers in research and management of biodiversity, including natural resource agencies at the local, state and federal level, not-for profit conservation groups, environmental consultancy firms, and zoos, aquariums and botanical gardens.

The Finance major provides a broad-based, analytical program for students anticipating a career in the management of both large and small organizations. Finance provides a good background for students seeking general careers in business. Finance majors can elect to take courses in the following areas that prepare them for entry and advanced careers in: financial management of corporations, management of financial institutions, investments, financial services, insurance, and real estate. In addition, the program in Finance is designed to provide the skills required by students earning degrees in other business disciplines and by students who seek professional degrees in areas such as law and public administration. The Finance program offers courses that enable the graduate to identify and solve problems in the acquisition and allocation of funds by organizations in the public and private sectors in domestic and international settings. It provides the background necessary for managing wealth in a risky environment. Finance relies on an interdisciplinary approach that draws on economic theory, accounting, information systems, and the quantitative decision frameworks of statistics and mathematics. The major is designed to ensure that graduates are familiar with the tools of financial decision making and that they possess the skills to stay abreast of the developments in the field. The M.A. in Gerontology program emphasizes educating students who, in their professional careers, will work to sustain or improve the quality of life of older people. Global Sustainability-M.A.
The Patel College of Global Sustainability fosters sustainable urban communities and environments through collaborative research, education, and community engagement Its research generates innovations and new knowledge that help communities and nations around the world, including those in developing countries, to reduce their ecological footprint while improving their social, economic, and environmental sustainability parameters to make them healthier, more livable, equitable and more resilient

In this innovative 30 credit hour graduate major, the students will apply their passion for the environment with hands-on experiential learning through internships to find sustainability solutions. The major offers a multidisciplinary study of the environment and social and economic dimensions of sustainability, as well as training in research methodology to enable practitioners to make informed decisions and to create tangible change toward sustainable futures. All students are required to perform a mandatory internship in the public or private sector. Upon graduation, the students will be ready for careers in global sustainability that require a systems approach, teamwork, program planning, and policy development skills to solve sustainability issues in developing and developed nations.
