International Year One General will prepare you to enter the second year of a bachelor's degree program at the University of South Florida. After successfully completing the Pathway program, you are guaranteed to enter your next semester of study. This transition to university from an INTO program is called progression.

Digital Communication & Multimedia Journalism
The Bachelor of Arts in Digital Communication and Multimedia Journalism is a hands-on program that allows students to prepare for careers in journalism, digital media, promotional communication, web development, photography, videography and other jobs requiring production of digital media content.

International Year One will prepare you to enter the second year of University of South Florida's competitive undergraduate degree program in Computer Science/Computer Engineering. Information Technology
The Information Technology program focuses on programming, databases, networking, human-computer interaction, web systems, and cybersecurity to meet the technology requirements of business, government, healthcare, education, and other organizations. Students in this program acquire the right combination of fundamental knowledge and practical expertise to solve computing technology problems and meet user needs.

The University of South Florida offers a four year program leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. The first three years are completed on campus; the fourth year (12 months) is completed at one of three affiliated hospitals in Florida, located in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Jacksonville. Admission to the fourth year is limited by the number of openings in affiliated hospitals and, at the present time, is competitive. Selection for the clinical program is made by the hospitals and students not admitted to a clinical program will need to select an alternate degree. Generally, hospitals require a minimum GPA of 2.50 to a 2.75, and our students admitted to clinical programs in recent years have had a mean GPA of 3.4 or higher. Students successfully completing this program will be granted a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.

Medical Technology
The University of South Florida offers a four year program leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. The Department participates in the College’s M.S.E. majors. The Department offers advanced degrees in areas of study pertinent to the design, evaluation, and operation of a variety of industrial systems, ranging from the analysis of public systems, to the service industry, to the operation of manufacturing concerns. Course topics and research opportunities include engineering analytics, production planning, production control, facilities design, applied engineering statistics, quality control and reliability, operations research, engineering economic analysis, human factors engineering, productivity analysis, manufacturing systems, robotics, automation, and computer applications.The Department has advanced laboratory facilities that support class projects and research in microcomputer applications, computer-aided design and manufacturing, flexible automation, quality control, and applications in robotics.

Public Health
USF offers the first Bachelor’s in Public Health housed in its accredited College of Public Health in Florida. The Bachelor of Science in Public Health provides the student-centered courses required for entry-level public health jobs found in government agencies, health corporations, community non-profit organizations and healthcare facilities. 

The Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology provides students with the skills and knowledge needed in the wide variety of agencies that comprise the criminal justice system, these include law enforcement, detention, the judiciary, corrections, juvenile justice, probation and parole. Also, the undergraduate program prepares criminology students to pursue a graduate degree in Criminology or related disciplines. The undergraduate program in Criminology introduces students to the theory, issues and methodology of the causes of crime and the criminal justice system. The program provides students with the critical thinking skills necessary for the consumption and production of criminological research. Upon graduation, students must be able to delineate the main theoretical explanations of crime and delinquency, demonstrate knowledge of research methods used in the fields of criminology and criminal justice, and provide an understanding of the structure and process of the U.S. system of criminal justice.

Business Administration-M.B.A.
The nationally ranked MBA program helps students develop analytical skills and creative abilities, and promotes collaboration with experienced and diverse classmates. In USF's MBA you will learn from world-class faculty, guest speakers and leaders of industry. The MBA can be completed on the Tampa and Sarasota-Manatee campuses.

The weekend Executive M.B.A. is a lock-step, 21-month, AACSB accredited program designed to meet the unique needs of both mid-career managers who have demonstrated the potential to reach senior management positions, and senior managers who desire to significantly increase their personal and organizational effectiveness. The major provides an opportunity to broaden and enrich management skills, to extend knowledge of modern business techniques, and to further develop understanding of the social, political, and economic forces that shape the business environment and influence decision making. Classes are scheduled all day on two Saturdays and one Friday a month for four semesters. The weekend format allows participants to continue carrying their careers while they master a range of managerial skills.
