BS Childhood Education
Teachers of grades 1–6 arguably have the greatest responsibility: to provide students with a solid foundation that encourages a life of learning. With the bachelor’s of science in childhood education, you can choose from one of the following concentrations: biology, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). This program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education.

BA Sociology and Anthropology

BFA Art
BFA program provides students with a broad introduction to the studio arts through an intensive sequence of courses in various media, followed by comprehensive study in a selected studio area. The degree culminates with the senior capstone course exhibition of a focused body of creative work.

BA Political Science
Political Science is the systematic study of power at local, national, and global levels. In our BA in Political Science program, you’ll engage in a living discipline that extends far beyond classroom walls. Through our BS in Chemistry, you will be carried far beyond textbook learning to get hands-on experience with modern laboratory instrumentation. With certification by the American Chemical Society, this program provides a unique opportunity to integrate classroom theory with laboratory experience.

• Through prudent selection of elective courses, in consultation with faculty advisors, chemistry majors may choose a specialization in a pre-professional course of study, such as pre-med.

• You can expect to conduct work on on-going research projects including biochemical studies of parasitic diseases with a view to developing new antimicrobial agents to combat disease by opportunistic infections of AIDS patients, sexually transmitted diseases and East African sleeping sickness.
