BA Peace and Justice Studies
We are currently the only University in Manhattan to offer a major in Peace and Justice Studies. This unique program merges the field’s theoretical principles with the practical experience in New York City and beyond. Pace’s PJS major is centered around three fundamental pillars—research, action, and education. BS Adolescent Education
Our program will lead you to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Adolescent Education. You’ll have the option to teach one of the following subject areas: biology, chemistry, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). With a BS in Adolescent Education, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to help today’s students become tomorrow’s leaders!

BS Childhood Education
Teachers of grades 1–6 arguably have the greatest responsibility: to provide students with a solid foundation that encourages a life of learning. With the bachelor’s of science in childhood education, you can choose from one of the following concentrations: biology, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). This program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education.
