BA American Studies
The BA in American Studies is an interdisciplinary and individualized degree in the social and cultural analysis of the United States and its borderlands. The interdisciplinary curriculum enables you to occupy public service management and analyst positions across sectoral boundaries, as the program takes into account career and industry sector flexibility.

Nonprofit Management
The Nonprofit Management track is geared toward public managers in the nonprofit sector with previous management experience or with advanced professional degrees. Students pursuing this MPA track can focus on three areas: managerial skills enhancement (for those in or preparing for a career as a manager or administrator of a non-profit organization); leadership development (designed for those interested in planning for and implementing social change); and social entrepreneurship (ideal for those in the private sector who have a particular interest in the social impact of for-profit business activities). BS Childhood Education
Teachers of grades 1–6 arguably have the greatest responsibility: to provide students with a solid foundation that encourages a life of learning. With the bachelor’s of science in childhood education, you can choose from one of the following concentrations: biology, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). This program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education.
