Our Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is designed to train you to acquire strong analytical and administrative skills, and gain the management expertise you will need to succeed in the most rewarding and demanding areas of the national economy: government, healthcare, and nonprofit administration. The program’s mission is to prepare our students to become value-driven public service leaders, managers, and analysts by offering you the knowledge of roles, values, skills, and practices that will help you become competent global professionals capable of ethical, innovative, and creative leadership in public service, government, health care, and nonprofit organizations. The interdisciplinary curriculum enables you to occupy public service management and analyst positions across sectoral boundaries, as the program takes into account career and industry sector flexibility.

Nonprofit Management
The Nonprofit Management track is geared toward public managers in the nonprofit sector with previous management experience or with advanced professional degrees. Students pursuing this MPA track can focus on three areas: managerial skills enhancement (for those in or preparing for a career as a manager or administrator of a non-profit organization); leadership development (designed for those interested in planning for and implementing social change); and social entrepreneurship (ideal for those in the private sector who have a particular interest in the social impact of for-profit business activities). Our Nonprofit Management track graduates are employed with varied sized-organizations in the areas of education, parks and recreation, community services, healthcare, immigration, etc.

BA Biological Psychology
Our BA in Biological Psychology combines psychology and biology curricula into one integrated and interdisciplinary program, providing you with in-depth knowledge of the biological systems that underpin all psychological functions.

With your BS in Criminal Justice, you can build a career path in private sector security or law enforcement—two fields that are always growing. The Healthcare Management track is ideal for individuals occupying administrative positions in the healthcare industry, who are interested in advancing into leadership positions in organizations that provide public health services as well as in regulatory agencies in the healthcare field. Our Healthcare Management track graduates are employed with state and local health agencies, and non-profit/for-profit healthcare organizations such as hospitals in the NYC metro area including NYC metro area Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai, Lenox Hill, Montefiore etc.

BS Digital Cinema and Filmmaking
Were you born to create? Our BS in Digital Cinema and Filmmaking (DCF) will prepare you for the professional world of cinema, television, and Internet drama production. Whether you want to make documentary films or fiction features, be a video journalist, a cinematographer, or an editor, the DCF program will provide you with the real-world skills you need to achieve a successful career in film.

BS Childhood Education
Teachers of grades 1–6 arguably have the greatest responsibility: to provide students with a solid foundation that encourages a life of learning. With the bachelor’s of science in childhood education, you can choose from one of the following concentrations: biology, English, history, mathematics, or Spanish (NYC Campus only). This program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Childhood Education.

Our BA in English fosters the development of strong communications skills and can serve as a solid foundation for graduate professional study. This program will also prepare you for exciting and challenging careers in many fields: communications, publishing, public relations, education, human resources, and industry, as well as government and the not-for-profit sector.

Be part of the exciting, evolving focus on population healthcare. Understand the behavioral, contextual, and societal determinants that impact community and global health. Choose from three tracks—Generalist, Pre-Nursing, or Pre-Physician Assistant—and participate in areas of concentration in Global Health and/or Health Policy and Advocacy.
