Our bachelor’s of science in early childhood education was created to support the development of all young children, including those who are culturally, linguistically, and ability diverse, with a focus on using developmentally effective approaches to build a meaningful curriculum for our youngest learners. The Early Childhood Education program leads to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in early childhood education.

Communication Studies brings together dynamic fields of public communication and mass media in the city where these elements live. BS Adolescent Education
Our program will lead you to a bachelor’s degree and the New York State Initial Teaching Certificate in Adolescent Education. BS Chemistry
Through our BS in Chemistry, you will be carried far beyond textbook learning to get hands-on experience with modern laboratory instrumentation. With certification by the American Chemical Society, this program provides a unique opportunity to integrate classroom theory with laboratory experience.

• You can expect to conduct work on on-going research projects including biochemical studies of parasitic diseases with a view to developing new antimicrobial agents to combat disease by opportunistic infections of AIDS patients, sexually transmitted diseases and East African sleeping sickness.
