Marist Social Work students want to help people. For Marist students, social work is more than just a job–it is a means with which to improve lives and communities. Marist’s Sports Communication concentration within the Communication major goes beyond scores and statistics. You will read and analyze sports in new ways, critically examining the role of sports in society and considering such areas as gender, race, and public policy in the context of sports. With a unique combination of theory and practice, you’ll have real-world experience in sports communication long before you enter the industry after graduation.

The study of Interior Design focuses on developing each design student's creativity by intersecting it with visual, technical, and architectural design principles. Mastery of these principles will enhance an Interior Design student's understanding of space, creativity, and art, while encouraging each person's own imagination allowing design students to correctly channel and focus ideas, avoid clichés, and collect new stimuli.
