The Public Relations concentration of the Communication major is geared toward our students who are interested in careers in Public Relations and related fields, resulting in career paths from Social Media Specialists to Corporate Communication Directors. Marist’s Sports Communication concentration within the Communication major goes beyond scores and statistics. Today's accounting majors are expected not only to provide auditing, accounting, and tax services for small and large companies, but also to provide services in forecasting, financial planning and evaluation, while creating and monitoring new technologies. Marist’s accounting program prepares our students for future-proof careers in accounting with a strategic balance in the theory and application of accounting foundations and niche specialty areas.
