The Bachelor of Arts in Modern Language, with an Emphasis in Dual Language meets the increasing demand for multilingual professionals. Students interested in pursuing intermediate studies in more than one language may combine the study of any two of the following languages: French, Japanese or Spanish. Coursework focuses on developing language proficiency, intercultural competency and professional skills. Students in the dual-language concentration also benefit from numerous study abroad opportunities to further refine their linguistic and cultural competencies.

The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with an Emphasis in Fiscal Mathematics provides a sufficient background in mathematics, statistics and computer science, to produce graduates who can work in areas requiring applied mathematical techniques and tools. This degree is structured to allow additional optional courses that enable the student to focus on a variety of further areas of interest. 

The BSBA, Management Emphasis degree is a 120-credit-hour program that requires at least 48-credit hours be filled with business courses, of which a minimum of 18-credit hours need to be taken in Management courses.

Throughout the program, students will be given the tools to become effective leaders, skilled communicators and savvy problem solvers. They will learn the theory and functions of management; the management of human resources; the development of strategic policies in an organization; organizational design and conflict resolution; entrepreneurship and international management. Students will be prepared to enter the workforce and succeed locally and globally across a wide range of business professions.

The Master of Arts in English program, a 30 credit-hour degree with concentrations in either literature or composition and rhetoric, furthers the education and advances the professional skills of teachers in high schools and middle schools in the St. Louis area; it prepares students for PhD programs in English studies, American studies, and composition; it prepares students for employment in community colleges as teachers of composition; and it provides opportunities for members of the St. Louis community to broaden their understanding of literature. The program contributes in substantial and measurable ways to the development and enhancement of the region's humanities workforce.

The BSBA, International Business Emphasis degree is a 120-credit-hour program that requires proficiency in a foreign language of international commerce (determined by the College of Business Administration). In addition, students must complete one of the following international experiences

• Study abroad for 3+ credit hours
• Complete an international internship approved by the International Business Institute
• Complete a minimum of one year international experience within 5 years of entering the program in any of the following areas: Peace Corps; volunteer work with an organization; an international posting by a company or government agency and/or approved, significant international experience

The BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science Emphasis provides a deeper technical and mathematical focus and is suitable for students interested in technical cybersecurity roles in industry and government. It blends technical- and business-oriented skills designed to prepare students for a variety of cybersecurity and IT related careers.

The core coursework includes business or technical writing, introduction to computing, programming and data structures, object-oriented programming, computer organization and architecture, Linux environment and programming, introduction to information security or cyber threats and defense, secure software development, information security risk management and business continuity, computer forensics and introduction to cryptography for computer security, while the emphasis courses are focused on preparation for the more technical aspects of cybersecurity.

The BS in Data Science and Analysis is an interdisciplinary program that is designed for students who want to develop statistical and data science skills. While data science is at the core of this program, students will also select a specialization from one of the following emphasis areas: biology, computer science, economics, mathematics, social science or supply chain analytics.

Students will learn the latest techniques including Python, R, Big Data and Data Mining. This degree will require between 36- and 51-credit hours to complete, depending on the emphasis area selected.

The BA in English is designed for students with an interest in developing critical thinking and clear communication skills. Employers in many fields actively seek out and welcome English graduates because of the diversity and proficiency of their skills.
