The Integrative Data Science major is a technology-oriented liberal arts major that brings together twenty-first century skills in computer programming, quantitative reasoning, collaboration, communication, design, and creative thinking. The International Business major consists of three sections. A minor or major in a modern foreign language is required. International Business majors must study or work abroad for at least one semester in an approved program.

Mathematics, as required for the business administration major, is strongly recommended. This is especially important for those students who plan to pursue graduate studies in this field.

Academically equivalent, both bachelor’s of art and bachelor’s of science will fully prepare you for a career in data analytics. If you choose to graduate with two majors, and one major is only offered as a B.A. or B.S., the second major should match the first degree.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) prepares students to analyze problems and develop strategic solutions for their workplace. The MBA focuses on real-world application of business knowledge and skills. The MBA is a 36-hour program that consists of three parts: (1) general knowledge (2) required core and (3) electives selected to meet your goals. In addition, students will participate in the mentoring program designed to enhance networking opportunities.

Students majoring in Health and Fitness Studies may pursue interest in such areas as personal training, strength and conditioning training, worksite wellness, health promotions, fitness centers, and graduate school. The combination of chemistry-based curriculum with a significant biology research component prepares our students for postgraduate studies in biomedical sciences. While biochemistry focuses on the structure and function of compounds like DNA, enzymes and proteins, molecular biology focuses on how molecules convert information into chemical reactions. Hands-on experimentation is central to the curriculum, which allows students to engage in high-level work that most of their peers do not experience until graduate school.

Students studying mathematics at Nebraska Wesleyan University have opportunities to engage themselves fully in their education by conducting research with faculty, teaching in the Math Tutoring Center, grading for courses, attending Math Club events, and working collaboratively with their peers.

The Bachelor of Arts with a major in Theatre Arts is the traditional liberal arts theatre degree that provides students broad-based theatre knowledge in each of the collaborative areas. It prepares students for graduate study, professional theatre careers, and may serve as preparation for law, ministry, or educational careers. It emphasizes cultural understanding, aesthetic sensitivity, and creative skill.
