The Master of Science in Architecture, Health and Design (M.S.AHD) program is a two-semester (plus summer term), 30-credit, post-professional master's degree. We welcome applications from graduates with a background in architecture and design, including healthcare design, interior design, industrial design, product design, etc., as well as those with interest and expertise in design technologies (simulation, visualization, robotic interactions, and fabrication, etc.), computational design, and new materials.

Our coordinated curriculum of design studios, labs, and core and elective courses is threaded with a renovated research-oriented approach to health and design. You'll explore methodologies that include prototyping at the scale of product and industrial design, the performative qualities of interior spaces, the exploration of material innovations, and the organizational diagrams of larger healthcare institutions. A final studio project in the summer term will synthesize professional, historical, theoretical, social, and material knowledge, and explore a multidisciplinary topic at the intersection of design, technology and the medical/healthcare fields.

The Data Science, M.S. is designed for students with a computer science or related background interested in pursuing data analytics, machine learning, visualization, and more. You'll learn how to employ data science concepts and methods to solve problems in business and scientific contexts and communicate these solutions effectively. You'll study computing theory, languages, and algorithms, and use mathematical and statistical models to formulate and implement data analyses and learn to apply them ethically.

Our practical curriculum incorporates case studies in advanced topics of computer architecture from classic and modern processors, including large-scale systems. You may also participate in sponsored research projects alongside faculty members from funding sources such as the Department of Defense.

What You’ll Learn
The M.Arch program at New York Tech helps you develop a critical understanding of historic and contemporary practices, cultures, and movements in the industry, preparing you to become a visionary leader and problem solver.

The program has two options:

• A two-year professional degree track for those with a pre-professional degree in architecture
• A three-year professional degree track for those with a bachelor’s degree in another area

Both options offer opportunities for travel abroad studios, workshops, and summer and semester programs at New York Tech’s international university partners in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The Digital Art & Design - Fine Arts & Technology, M.F.A. helps you push the boundaries of your imagination by producing concept-driven, innovative works of art with both new technologies and traditional tools and mediums. Each of your classes explores and integrates cutting-edge technology, with an emphasis on its impact on the art experience. Your classroom projects incorporate the use of 3-D modeling software to create memorable characters and environments; motion capture to drive those characters and bring them to life; and experiential art through the use of VR/AR.

Gain the visual UX/UI design strategies and digital development skills to plan, design, and develop human-friendly interactivity for web, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), voice user interface (VUI) and other applications.

What You’ll Learn
The UX/UI Design and Development, M.A., is a one-year program where you’ll learn how to strategize, design, and develop user experience/user interface in industries ranging from entertainment and media production to aerospace, architecture, medicine, and more.
