Focused on culturally competent school counseling and social justice, the School Counseling, M.S. helps you become a compassionate, effective advocate for the academic, social, and emotional success of pre-K–12 students.

You’ll gain a broad foundation on prevalent topics in school counseling today, including leadership, group counseling, working with special needs students, college counseling, and school violence prevention. You’ll also acquire the critical experience you need through a practicum and internships under the mentorship of a tenured school counselor in a pre-K–12 school setting.

We also offer a Bilingual Extension, which can be completed simultaneously with your school counseling degree. The extension includes a minimum of six additional credits, as well as bilingual practicum experience to prepare you to work specifically with bilingual/ELL students and their families. NYSED certification will require documented proficiency in the target language by independently passing the New York State Bilingual Assessment (BEA).

The MSAUD program is at the forefront of urban design research focused on issues of urbanization through the exploration of social, environmental, and technological domains. The Digital Art & Design - Fine Arts & Technology, M.F.A. helps you push the boundaries of your imagination by producing concept-driven, innovative works of art with both new technologies and traditional tools and mediums. Each of your classes explores and integrates cutting-edge technology, with an emphasis on its impact on the art experience. Your classroom projects incorporate the use of 3-D modeling software to create memorable characters and environments; motion capture to drive those characters and bring them to life; and experiential art through the use of VR/AR.

Our M.B.A. with Business Analytics concentration gives you the skills you’ll need to analyze and implement data-driven business processes, form business inferences and predictions from data, and make optimal and robust business decisions.

Our program offers training on statistical analysis, data visualization, database management, machine learning, and social network analytics applications in different business functional areas including marketing, finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, and human resources.

You’ll become familiar with business analytics tools such as Python programming, SQL, Tableau, using them with real-world business case studies from different business disciplines to determine which dataset is most useful and how it can be leveraged to solve business problems and increase productivity, efficiency, and revenue.
