The Master of Science in Architecture, Computational Technologies (M.S.ACT) program is a two-semester (plus summer term), 30-credit, post-professional master's degree. The program integrates critical relationships between science and culture, developing new technologies with a focus on the history and theory of representation, robotics, and cybernetics. You'll learn how to apply, research, and develop advancements in computational design, robotic interaction and fabrication, and new materials.

The M.S.ACT program builds up expertise in three terms (Fall, Spring, Summer), organized as core studios and seminars in three focus areas (Computational Design, Fabrication and Robotics, and Materials) and culminating with an interdisciplinary integrated Project-based Learning Studio in the summer term.

What You’ll Learn

• The Computer Science, B.S. with a concentration in Network Security allows you to focus on network infrastructure and network security aspects, preparing you to handle IT security infrastructure challenges for businesses around the world.
• You’ll study a variety of topics such as defense-in-depth, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptography, and virtual private networks. You’ll also complete a substantial project that demonstrates the full extent of your technical skills and knowledge, in addition to its economic, societal, and ethical impact.

Develop an understanding of all aspects of a building’s design and architectural technology by exploring new materials and fabrication technologies on your journey toward a professional career in the industry.

What You’ll Learn

• With the Architectural Technology, B.S.A.T., your curriculum will encompass architectural design, building technology, environmental systems, and project management using advanced software and tools. You can also opt to further tailor your degree by pursuing a concentration in Construction Management.
• During your first two years, you will study the foundations of architectural history and building construction while developing expertise in design analysis, drafting, and 3-D design skills. During your third and fourth years, you will work intensively toward the completion of a capstone project incorporating all aspects of a building’s design and architectural technology.
• You’ll gain the critical experience you’ll need to stand out to employers through national and international design workshops, collaborative projects within the community, onsite construction observation, and summer study abroad in canonical cities around the world.

What You’ll Learn

• Help companies around the world keep important data safe, limit risks, and recover from attacks with the Cybersecurity, M.S. This program is ideally suited for those with engineering or computer science undergraduate degrees.
• You’ll design, implement, and maintain software tools to support network security across multiple operating systems, overseeing the information lifecycle of an organization from planning and acquisition to implementation. You’ll also study algorithm concepts, computer forensics, risk management and legal issues, and intrusion detection and hacker exploits.
• You’ll then put classroom-learned theory into practice through hands-on projects and research—some completed side-by-side with leading faculty working on innovations in areas including biometrics, conceptual modeling, cryptography, cyber behavioral authentication, genomic computation, mobile and cybersecurity, and swarm intelligence.

• Through the Energy Management, M.S., you’ll master the latest technologies used in green buildings, power systems, and facility security. You’ll work side-by-side faculty who are experts in facilities management, risk assessment, and alternative energy systems.
• To fit this program into your busy schedule, you can attend classes at either our Long Island campus or fully-online. Weekend and evening courses are also offered.
• You’ll have the opportunity to work on funded research projects for the Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, and more alongside faculty both in and out of New York Tech’s Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center (ETIC).

Our program offers training on statistical analysis, data visualization, database management, machine learning, and social network analytics applications in different business functional areas including marketing, finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, and human resources.

The Life Sciences - Biomedical Engineering, B.S. helps you learn to leverage core biological principles to solve a vast spectrum of medical problems.

With a focus on biomedical engineering, your curriculum covers a range from calculus-based mathematics and anatomy to physiology and biomedical physics. You’ll infuse technology into your program by taking classes in computer programming, electrical circuits and electronics, and microprocessors, preparing you for graduate work in bioengineering.
