Our Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering provides interdisciplinary coursework designed to increase the understanding and application of engineering principles. All of our program faculty possess expertise in transportation, geo-technology, structures, water resources, and the environment. Courses include applied, hands-on education, and build the knowledge and training needed for students to contribute to the engineering field.

Interdisciplinary areas include mechanics and materials, and sustainability. This specialization also includes the following focus areas: Mechanics and Materials; Signals, Systems and Computational Intelligence; Sustainability; and Transportation Engineering.

The strength of the Accounting Degree Requirements is in the emphasis on practical and theoretical content to help students prepare for ethical participation in various accounting careers, including careers in professional accounting and financial management. The program also prepares students for graduate studies in accounting, taxation and business.

The Accounting Program at Rowan University's Rohrer College of Business has been ranked the #3 accounting program in the state of New Jersey by the Accounting Degree Review. As we move to an era of decreased reliance on fossil fuels and rapidly diminished available land for development, efficiency in the use of the remaining land and in the sustainability of every dimension of our lifestyles will become ever more critical. In this environment, wise planning will become increasingly necessary. Planners are in demand to fill positions in consulting, industry, government, and non-profit organizations. A masters degree in Urban & Regional Planning is recognized as the terminal degree for this profession, but currently there is only one accredited planning program in our state. This proposed program will focus on all planning fields commonly practiced in southern New Jersey, but at the same time highlight the global significance as they are related to climate change, environmental degradation, sustainability, resiliency, and diversity. This proposed program will accommodate the needs of full-time professionals through a combination of evening and online courses.

Planning is a multidisciplinary field, so the MS program will accept students with undergraduate degrees from both science and liberal arts backgrounds. The MS program is being developed in such a way that graduates become skilled practitioners and are qualified to work within government, private, or nonprofit sectors.

Our Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering prepares professionals to respond to the changing needs of engineers today. This program provides you with the necessary knowledge, skill set, and training to effectively contribute to the engineering workforce. As a student, you have access to higher-level courses that lead to a graduate degree, and are involved in professional development opportunities that increase the breadth of understanding and application of engineering principles.

A research-based degree, the M.S. in Biomedical Engineering includes additional graduate-level Biomedical Engineering coursework, which gives you an opportunity to expand your skill set in advanced topics of interest. Those advanced topics include Biomaterials Engineering, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Bioinstrumentation, Biomechanics and Mechanobiology, Immunoengineering, and other emerging areas.

Our Master of Arts in School Psychology provides a background in the theories, major knowledge and methodological procedures in psychology. We combine traditional classroom learning and extensive field experience to help you build knowledge and skills simultaneously.

The Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science major offers you the opportunity to pursue multiple areas of study in the humanities and social sciences. The major gives you the ability to combine two academic areas into one flexible and comprehensive Bachelor of Arts degree, creating a truly multidisciplinary education.

The Entrepreneurship Program's mission is to educate the Rowan University students to understand global economic, social, political, and environmental events, problems and opportunities as they impact emerging enterprises, non-profit entities and corporate extensions.
