Molecular and Cellular Biology focuses on the study of the processes that govern living organisms. An MBA Concentration in HR Management is an ideal option for those that want a career that builds on their interpersonal skills, communication skills, and emotional intelligence. Explore talent management concepts such as hiring, recruiting, training, and managing staff to ensure that a business’s most important assets (its employees) are well prepared and encouraged to thrive in their everyday work environment. Career roles include recruitment and employee screening, performance management, employee relations, enforcement of disciplinary actions, compensation negotiation, management of employee records, continued education, and so on. HR Management is in demand across an unlimited number of industries. Long term career goals include SHRM certification, HRCI certification, succession planning, HR data and analytics, HR information systems, and introducing/maintaining company culture.

Our M.S. in Data Science prepares graduates with a degree in a STEM-related field for a career in data science. The program provides a strong background in data mining, modeling, and statistical and machine learning. In our curriculm, we build on industry needs, as well as guidelines of the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) and the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Supply Chain and Logistics Professionals strive to reduce costs, boost customer service, ensure quality, and improve companies' profit leverage.

As a supply chain and logistics major, you will learn about logistical functions, understand the intricacies of supply chain operations, and identify and analyze supply chain strategies for realistic situations. Besides, you will learn to use quantitative techniques to analyze, structure, and solve complex real-world supply chain problems. Through applied coursework, team-based projects, case studies, and real-world experience, you will gain the skills to make smart decisions critical to supply chain value creation.

Our Supply Chain and Logistics program will provide students with a growth mindset as well as the foundations, tools, and experience necessary to pursue a career in logistics, inventory management, purchasing, warehousing, transportation, and general supply chain management.

The Africana Studies program at Rowan is devoted to the study of the historical and contemporary challenges, experiences, and contributions of Africans, African Americans, and people of African descent throughout the world. One of the program's greatest strengths is its unique interdisciplinary approach to global black studies that offers students an array of courses from 12 academic departments on campus. Students can major or double major in Africana Studies, or pursue a minor.

Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Rowan is a modern, innovative, hands-on project-based program, where we train and graduate proficient engineers who will be successful in solving not only today’s problems, but also tomorrow’s evolving and emerging engineering challenges. Electrical and computer engineers pioneered the invention of smartphones, computers, smart grids, digital cameras, GPS systems, medical imaging devices and computer games.

Join the crucial role in the design of cars, airplanes, spacecraft, autonomous and even extraterrestrial vehicles, home appliances, bioinformatics, lifesaving medical equipment and many other technologies that we have come to rely on.

As we move to an era of decreased reliance on fossil fuels and rapidly diminished available land for development, efficiency in the use of the remaining land and in the sustainability of every dimension of our lifestyles will become ever more critical. In this environment, wise planning will become increasingly necessary. Planners are in demand to fill positions in consulting, industry, government, and non-profit organizations. A masters degree in Urban & Regional Planning is recognized as the terminal degree for this profession, but currently there is only one accredited planning program in our state. This proposed program will focus on all planning fields commonly practiced in southern New Jersey, but at the same time highlight the global significance as they are related to climate change, environmental degradation, sustainability, resiliency, and diversity. This proposed program will accommodate the needs of full-time professionals through a combination of evening and online courses.

Planning is a multidisciplinary field, so the MS program will accept students with undergraduate degrees from both science and liberal arts backgrounds. The MS program is being developed in such a way that graduates become skilled practitioners and are qualified to work within government, private, or nonprofit sectors.

Our M.A. in Higher Education Academic Advising track is designed for professionals who are seeking advising careers at two- or four-year institutions. These advising roles are found throughout higher education, whether in an advising center, an academic department or college, a tutoring center, or other specialized academic settings.
